Hi Luria! I heard you don’t like losing access to the top left button using folders - wanted to share that one way I counteract that is by using “switch profile” instead of a folder to get to more buttons. For example I find it easier to switch profile for a new set of commands (e.g. go live now profile), then have a different switch profile button within that go live now profile that goes back to your main profile and place it wherever you like! That way it frees up top left for anything you like..and you can put the switch back to main profile button somewhere else. Cheers!
Thanks Robbie!! I tried setting it up that way and there was something I didn’t like about it... can’t remember right now... but I’ll try again and see if I can jog my memory haha
Live Streaming Pros ok gotcha! It can be annoying if you set “default applications” for profiles, so maybe if you retry it, try not having any “default applications” set for different profiles. This makes the stream deck switch all the time depending on which window you have in focus. But it seems to work well without that so you have more control!
@@LiveStreamingPros Another benefit I've been enjoying from the switch profile method is that you can have them accessed in different locations, and the changes will update for all. Hard to explain in text, but if for example you copy and paste a folder, and make changes in one of the folders, it only updates for one location of that folder. But if you're using switch profile method, no matter where you access the profile from, the updated buttons in the profile will update across all. So you could switch from golivenow right to philips hue to adjust a fill light then back to golive now, without having to hit the back button however many times to get to main screen, then go to philips folder, then back to main screen, then back to ecamm, then back into golivenow subfolder. Hope that makes sense, has been very helpful for me. Have a good week!
Sadly I can’t use the dream deck because my MacBook 2012 has only two usb inputs. One is for my capture card and one for microphone. The stream deck and capture card must go directly into usb and not a hub leaning no input for microphone.
I love it! Stream deck seems to solve my challenges. I'm wondering if I could still use an ATEM Mini as my video capture? Which multi camera capture device do you recommend to use with Ecamm + Streamdeck?
@@LiveStreamingPros I think I posted this before you got to it... but when you (assuming Luria) got to it... you laughed and I couldn't make out the answer. :'( LOL. Appreciate all you do! Keep up the good work!
How would you set up three cameras on you tube live streaming? Does this work as a switcher, where you may connect your camera output (HDMI?) live show to broadcast? Do you connect this to Elgato Capture card? I am very new, so I need massive help. Thanks much.
Hello! You'd need to use streaming software for that set up - LSP recommends vMix for PCs and Ecamm for Macs. Then you can use the X-keys (PC) or Stream Deck (Mac) to create shortcuts, if you want. You might want to consider our DIY Studio Workshops - they cover setting up your studio, using streaming software, and a whole lot more! livestreamingpros.com/start
Live Streaming Pros Thank you for the info. I was a bit worried you wouldn’t respond having heard Luria say on the Social Media Marketing Podcast that No-One responds to the messages on RUclips, which I thought was wrong! You have t let me down👍 I personally think you should reply to messages as the person who sent it went out of their way to connect. Something i was taught in radio. Keep on supplying the info & stay safe 🙏

Sonia Barcelona Hi! We have public Q&A streams on RUclips every Tuesday at 10:00am PST orrrrr we do a members only Q&A every Friday at 10:00am PST. The members only is where you’re more likely to get your question answered because Tuesdays are always busy and we usually don’t have enough time to answer every single question. Hope this helps! 🙂

You can use the stream deck in OBS & not just for ecamm
👍

We don't recommend there mini, capture cards like the HD60S+ are a great way to bring video in!
Just watching the replay... Question: Can you put "Demo Mode" as a button on your stream deck?
Jeremiah I thought we covered that in the video :o

!!!! Awesome new gadget. !!!
IKR!?! Are you going to get one!?
Hello my friend I'm new and can't wait to see your video 💗
Great video and nice information, but why your volume is too low to hear? Trying hard to listen you!
Not sure, sounds fine here...maybe your settings were set low?
Great video! Do you have a video on your settings on your a5100?
There is an iPad app for $25 per year. When you buy the legato streamdeck do you have a fee to pay or is it in with the price?
The physical Stream Deck device is a single cost. If you want to use the mobile app, that is a subscription.
