Thanks for not wasting time with useless dialogue. Nice boardshorts! Aloha!
Adding a coolant feed and reservoir helps with blade life. Excellent product and video. Thanks!
Im glad you like it! :) i have already some upgardes in my mind - including the feed coolant
I have to say that this is the best DIY bandsaw I've ever seen. Especially the vertical option. This bandsaw should be the standard for all horizontal bandsaw machines across the board.
So glad to hear that! I think it has a bit room for improvement though! :)
Nicely done! Thanks for showing.
i'm glad you enjoyed! :)
A beautiful 'ever green' tool...my compliments :-)👍
haha! thank you! :)
This was a really fun project! Thanks everyone for for following my work.
PCBWay.com - thank you for sending me one of the band saw wheels - it was a pleasure to mount in the machine. With no doubt I can recommend your service! :)

Best of the best! I can never dream of fabricating such a great piece of engineering but your video occupied position one in my library. I loved so much your cutting prowess coupled with your tig welding skills. I wish I could like it 100k times. Thank you so much for sharing
So happy to hear you like my work! thank you :)
Outstanding work!
doing my best!
That is hands down hilarious and one of the funniest examples of mistaken identity. As to a Prosecutor or a Judge offering to cut a better deal for simply knowing “the correct attorney” hits close to home to examples in my own youth.
The law often has a large breadth of scale for penalties (the difference between paying $100 vs $5000 or whether you serve jail time or not is quite big) and since it’s entirely up to the Prosecutor or Judge to determine where along that scale your punishment should be, having a good word on your behalf of someone acquainted with those determining the penalty really can go a long way.
Extraordinario proyecto, gracias por compartir
Me alegro de que te guste :)
Excellent work🙂
Thanks!
Amazing work 💯

Great job as usual. A beauty. Greet from Slovakia
Thanks a lot! Greetings from Poland!
Very good job GBWM
Thank you! :)
Very good information ❤ for creative people keep it up 👍

No lekutko! :) Plany już są! ^^
That was a big project. I'm impressed that you completed it. It is leaving a very square cut on the end of the workpiece! I would like to see the Pivot Point directly over the work piece. If you add flood coolant I would like to see the rest of the video.
i'm not sure if I will add flood coolant to this particular version of the machine - maybe in the future in a new version of it (already have some upgrades in mind including coolant). Not sure what you mean about the pivot point though
Nice project, and it's also refreshing to see that you drink Mate too :)
thanks! yes - yerba mate is so refreshing, haha!
Hey y’all … I have some sawdust, bark, and grass clippings I’ll sell you for your “tea”! 29.95 US for a 6” compressed cube! If you order right now, I’ll throw in some GENUINE mulched up maple leaves at no extra charge!
Very nice job :) Just few tips: try to make wheels for at least 20mm blades... This 13mm tend to brake after few cuts. Also, wheels shouldn't be closed on both sides, on teeth side on the blade should be open and teeth must be in the air so chips will fall out and when you tighten the blade, teeths would not be straighten...
Maybe when I build a new band saw I will use those hints as there are some small things I noticted after puting it together that could be changed. But for now I used already a bit this saw and works fine for now with the 13mm blade. You're right - the wheels could easily be opened on one side. But I don't exactly get the idea about the teeths that would not be straighten. Could you explain what you mean?
@@GBWM_CNC teeths are in criss cross patern, they are left right if you know what i mean? And when you tighten the blade and teeth are touching the wheel, they get straightened.
@@mojamalaradionica5091 oh snap, I get your point now. So with a 20mm blade the wheel size should let the teeth run outside the wheel. Thank you for your input. I will watch how it behaves as it is now and if it will be an issue I will fix this in the future or even maybe build a new one with all issues fixed
@@GBWM_CNC with all balde sizes should be like that, that's why i said you should make wheels for bigger blade. Even with 13mm teeth it should be 2mm outside the wheel. With 20mm also 2mm outside the wheel. If you straighten the teeth blade will not cut well or it will get dull very soon.
@@mojamalaradionica5091 I get the point now. Will see if the teeth actually will straighteen and how long will it take
What a pleasure for us to be a part of your compaign!

Grt job i want to build something like this
feel free! :) every experience is worthful
You should have wiper/dust guard in front of the blade guide bearings to prevent shavings getting between the blade and the guide bearings.
You're right! I will have to think about something like that
Uep! Sos Arg? Un abrazo y genial el laburo

Hello! are the plans available? congratulations, nice work
Hi! I'm sharing the plans I use with my patrons. But these are not exact plans - just the idea let's say :)
Badass! How do I find the plans and materials needed for this?
Thanks! I dont have exact plans but I shared some drawings with all my patrons :)
Hello, I also have a band saw that runs on 380w and I only have 220w, could I put a motor on it to run on 220w? The saw is called Holzmann BS128HDR 400 V. There is also a 220 V version, but I can't find specifications for the motor. Thank you
I'm not familiar with those. But if all other parameters would be the same just the voltage was different - I see no problems
Nice video. I really dislike the tea parts though.
thanks. it's not tea - it's yerba mate :)

Você tem o projeto pra venda?
No vendo nada.
Un mate y a seguir... 😅🇦🇷

Probablemente sea U. Uruguayo o ARGENTINO. LE FELICITO POR EL DISEÑO. mE PERMITO SUGERIRLE QUE SI PONE EL MOTOR DEL LADO DE ABAJO Y HACE QUE EL CAMBIO DE LA HOJA SEA POR ARRIBA, FACILITA LA TAREA DEL CAMBIO DE LA HOJA
¡Soy polaco, jaja!
what kind of welding do you use?!!
MIG and TIG depending on which you mean. The frame was MIG welded (with sparks) and most of the other parts were TIG welded (usually without sparks).

HI CAN YOU SEND COMPLETE PDF OF BAND SAW
Hola:
¡Hola!
👍👍👍
what the heck are you drinkin? looks like saw dust! hahahaha

bro... do you not ever out do yourself? amazing video and fucking B-E-A-UTIFUL content. I wish i could have you tutor me in CAD.. just got my rig up and running again now that i got Starlink and have fast enough internet to utilize it
haha! i'm glad you like my work! is the internet from starlinks really good? where do you live if I could ask? interesting! :)
Great build, though since the advent of carbide metal chop saws, obsolete.
Hmm, the carbide metal chop saws have their cons too. The saws are really expensive and those are really loud. But yeah - much faster though
Incorrect. Band saws don't through large amount of sparks nor create a lot of metal dust and thus are much cleaner. Band saws also produce much less heat during cutting and can often even cut thick steel without needing active cooling to prevent work hardening. And lastly, you can turn a metal band saw upright and with the addition of a simple plate of metal as a cutting platform/table you can use it to literally figure saw through metal, physically impossible with a chop saw.
Not bad, but circular steel disc much simpler and near zero maintenance.
What kind of disc? A mitter saw?
@@GBWM_CNC Yep, miter saw.
Except for changing bearings, near zero maintenance.
I use coolant and blade with inserts, for steel and ss.
For bandasw is needed sharpening, plus very easy can break. The worst part is when it is needed to fix it.
