Basically what I am saying is that all 8’s and 9’s are unrealistic from just working a long time. I think it depends what we mean by hard work wether it’s thriving off it or Keeping at it no matter what interest. I personally think you need to thrive if them to do well with hard work or you are just naturally talented. There are metrics to what we are talking about here so idk what level you are saying.
I’d advise you to not watch these videos and stress about your gcses this early on. It will just make u feel even more stressed when it’s just unnecessary at the moment 💖
I'm 29 now and I failed my maths at GCSE.. I got a D 😑 it took me 2 further attempts at this to finally get my C now I hold a degree with honors in nursing and have been in my job for 4 years. I never got higher than a C in any of my GCSEs. Your speech was very inspirational I nodded throughout! You can get where you want to be theres always a way! Well done girls! @@deniushersmith2438 a levels is not the only way to go uni m8. Do a level 3 course that will take you to uni with decent grades. Level 3 is alvels level 2 is GCSES

At the end of a day it’s a piece of paper and doesn’t define your skill. The future does not depend on your GCSEs either. Try not to stress too much. That’s what got me through my GCSEs. It's probably worse if you fail A levels rather than GCSEs. But still, even if you fail A levels, you can still be successful most likely. Same with GCSEs.

@amxnah x You will do well. Just heads up for you, don’t spend 3-4 hours of revision without rest. Spend like about half an hour of revision if you can and then rest for like about 10-15 minutes. Then build it up. And a bit of advice if you want to get a C in English or above, read books and practice practice past papers and techniques. And also my big advice for you, proof read your essays and count how many words you got in your essays. Because in your first paper( section B), you will have to write about 350-500 words. Paper two (section B), you got two essays to write about- one is an argument and the other is a persuasion and it’s 200-300 words. And if you have extra time and you think you’ve done well with your essays, go back to Section A and fill in other bits you’ve miss. Because that’s how I got my C in English, go back to section A and find where the information you need. Good luck and you will do well. And I will pray for you. God bless.

5 days ago edexcel changed all the btec grade boundaries so most people got a grade below what they were expecting, that might be why you expected a distinction instead of a merit, there’s a few petitions going round so that it goes back to the original grade boundaries🧡
Btec performing arts the grade boundaries changed last Friday! Hardly anybody got a distinction, if you got a merit on paper, if the boundaries didn’t change you would’ve both got a distinction! That’s exactly what I got today! Well done both❤️❤️❤️❤️
