      @curtisRyanWoodside if you were a real egyptologists. You'd know that yes they did name their cats. One that is approx 3400 years old named Nedjem, but more were variations like Myw, Miu, Mau, feminine Miit, Miat ("He/She Who Meows")

    • @CurtisRyanWoodside
      @CurtisRyanWoodside  Год назад +9

      One example of naming doesn’t count, and the meow name is the general name for cats. Dogs were given actual names like people do today.

    What an enjoyable documentary👏🏽👏🏽💯…Thank you so much for making it!! It’s fascinating to think that most people have it wrong about the popularity of cat worship in Egypt. I’ve kept cats since I was a little girl and currently have two cheeky boys, a ginger Tom called Piggy and a completely black cat called puma. They and many of my other babies came to me as strays and just moved themselves in. Cats are truly remarkable and it’s no wonder they were seen as protectors for the household in ancient times.
    Long live Bastet and the worldwide love we have for our feline friends🥰🐈‍⬛🐈☀️✨❤️❤️🐾🐾✨💫

    Another well informed documentary Curtis, But i think that you will find that the colossal statue of Meritamun is accualy a colossal statue of Queen Tiye if you have a look at the facual features It is a statue that was reinscribed. You will also find that the lion Maahes that accompanys Rameses the second at Abu Simbel is also a lion god who protects the sun god Ra .
