I cry every time I hear Charles Bradley sings Changes. Very deep. He was an inimitable musical talent. I'm glad for his soul that he was able to turn his relationship around with his mother for the better and sang her this song.

I discovered Charles far too late.
And, now, I will never have the pleasure of seeing this wonderful musician and man live... His music provides all of the necessary context for what is "soul music."
I feel it. In my soul.
Charles will live on forever. I'll be playing him for my kids, and hopefully they'll be playing him for their kids.
This guy was all-in. Always.
He made my generation go back to soul when "no time for dreaming" came out and i'm grateful for that.

Nobody will ever touch his passion for singing, his emotions speak for themselves. But I can tell you there are artists that can stand next to him and be proud. Never stop listening to new and different music. It will make you whole and complete. Thank you to the Gods for Charles Bradley. What an amazing soul of a man. Godspeed old boy. You still move mountains.
