🟢 Summary: Roger and Jack are both attacked by a secret man in the jungle. As they recover, Jane discovers the river is being poisoned so Tarzan seeks the reason for these problems. He discovers his enemy Manuel who is using chemicals to mine uranium.

This updated version of the classic adventure story follows the legendary "Ape Man" and his scientist friends as they protect the jungle from environmental threats. Wolf Larson (best known for roles in L.A. Heat and 'Just Can't Get Enough') plays the title role. He beat out Joe Lara who later played Tarzan in Epic Adventures. The show works for all ages, but does touch on themes better suited to mature audiences.
Fun Fact: The lion in this series was originally performed by Josef of Monterey, California's zoo. He would go on to play the live action model for Mufasa in Disney's animated production of The Lion King. The show inspired the poem “Sunday, Tarzan in His Hammock” by Lewis Buzbee, which he wrote as "...revenge against Tarzan and cheerful aerobics instructors everywhere.”
