it’s so fascinating because when I was watching the movie, the face of the boy reminded me of Caravaggio! So it’s not a coincidence. Great interview

So fascinating. I find the interpreter role impressive. To capture the precise wording of Breillat, interact with Lea Drucker while repeating what the director said, and do it all with apparently such ease amazes me. I don't know if this comment will warrant a response, I have a few questions. I watched all the Jutine Triet interviews about Apres la chute, with the same interpreter. She never used notes. At times she would say, I'll paraphrase and capture the essence of hundreds of words so deftly. Here, though, I see she took notes. Was that because it is Breillat? Also, does she prepare, such as watching both film versions, and even looking at prior interviews of the principals to so skillfully blend knowledge of cinema, and interact with three parties on stage.. I think she is American, but such facility with both languages is so admirable, so if no response is forthcoming, thanks for an inspiration to continue my French studies, and love of French cinema. Thanks Film @ Lincoln Center, Chapeau bas.
