Zhenya may not be the best skater in history in terms of technique or anything else, but she is definitely one of the friendliest and most open figure skaters of the last decade. She brings together completely different people.
Her joy, admiration for other athletes and sheer love for the sport has captivated people all over the world.The number of her fans proves that sometimes the most important thing is not awards and talents, but your own hard work, humanity, the ability to love and unite.
After all, sports competitions were created for this: not to separate people from all countries, but rather to unite. And sometimes it seems to me that people began to forget it.
I'm going to selfishly think it's because the world is missing Zhenya and her interactions with others at competitions;)

Женя умеет дружить.
