Sean really didnt ever seem like he viewed Phil as a physical threat. He just laughed about Phil punching him. Sean just wound him up. I do think Sean would have beat Phil but they were careful to never show it...as Phil always has to look hard

@@jubilee7019 He isn't 6'2 he's 6'0 and he was 23-25 when he was in EE lol, he also wasn't SAS he was just supposed to be a bog standard soldier.

I wouldn't say hands down ' it would be a challenge ' unless he got a sucker in ' but then Sean would get him again later ' he would certainly give Phil a good scrap even if he lost.
I don’t think Sean and Phil had any real beef
Phil mentally, but physically, he was a bit wary of Sean, he knew Sean was a bit of a psycho, and much fitter and younger.
I reckon they'd beat each other to a pulp ' Phil landed a lucky punch there ' and Sean was still hardly phased.

Hard to determine a winner here Sean probably won the cheeky sly digs side to things he had Phil in some great one liners Phil obvs win physical side to things as he droped Sean with a single punch but Sean laughed it off

I completely love your breakdown of this feud. How have you been anyway? Not heard from you for a while
Sean won the mind games but Phil won the physical fight, mind you, there was a scene when Sean first left EE that Phil had to take someone with him as backup when searching for Sean so I think even Phil was a bit scared of Sean (perhaps he could see the psycho side of Grant in Sean)...excellent acting by Rob and Steve and EE hasn't been the same since Samantha and Rita left and it was around this time that I last stopped watching EE because it became boring and predictable afterwards :-(
Whilst i respect your opinion, EE got boring the minute Ronnie and Roxie showed up. Glad they're not in it anymore.

in real life sean hes young in good shape and confidence thats the key to winning a fight too having it in your head that you have already won. phil is old fat and just relys on his long gone reputation to intimidate people so they back off and if he knows that he is way over his head he will pay someone to do it for him like he did with dennis rickman

Phil is not the hardest in eastenders grant was built like a tank who literally could break a person in half dan sullivan was a giant and phil nearly got killed by jack branning he would be no match to them in real life. He is no way the hardest.
Dan Sullivan very strong probably on par with Grant but Phil could throw a sweet hook it has to be said but in terms of physicality Dan and Grant would destroy Phil.
@@helmutschmacker3791 That is why Phil got 2 pals to be on standby when he had the poker night, he had to get hired help as Dan was almost twice Phil's size, and Phil was a hardman but not in Dan's league.

For a little man phil has a helluva left hook. Remember he was a boxer in his youth and could brawl dirty. I find it a bit ridiculous how hes still tough but late 90s before he got fat he had a bit of speed on his side and aggression. Dan yes is physically larger but philth would use every trick in the book in a street fight.

I watched this earlier, so it came up on my homepage asking me to rate it. I rated it 5 stars and I checked the reasons as being: Heartwarming, life-changing, inspiring, enjoyable, informative, useful, calming and other! Obviously I'm not mocking this video at all, but it's just such a stupid selection of reasons why you would have enjoyed it 🤣

Nobody did psychotic better than 93-99 grant. The 2005 and after version was bigger but far less scary and dialled in a cheesy performance and still dealt with dennis rickman who was probably top 3-5 hard men of all time. Grant for me was at his meanest before the gianni and beppe rivalry got going. He was faster and angrier in the early 90s.
@@bensmithkent22 grant Mitchell is a fighter. You can see it in his eyes. His brother Phil, is tough but he's a bully and doesn't match up to his brother. When dennis arrives in walford he raises the stakes. He's tough. He's damaged, he loves. He doesn't care whether he lives or dies. He backs down to no one. Dennis Rickman was the best character ever.
