She was actually filming both at the same time cos they filmed season 1 of dumping ground summer 2012 and this was filmed in like November -January time and then Jody in wonderland was filmed few months later and then season 2 was filmed

Liam really annoyed me throughout this story, but I’m glad he got out of the gang in time.
Since EastEnders often film scenes at grotty estates filled with gangs, lowlifes, druggies and scum, surprised they haven't been to the Thamesmead estate where I used to live. Or rather what's left of it now as half of the original architecture's already been pulled down.
This is all filmed in a studio. Not a real location.

I was in a crew in south East London when I was 16 and there is so much stuff that's left out in this because the real thing is much different and nastier. I went to prison and moved over to Ireland when I got out , I have two kids and a family...I was lucky because plenty have ended up dead or doing 20 years to life for murder , Don't be a fool for nobody , make your own choices...!!

This is a heavy episode, needing friends and trust, but everyone is against you really and you get involved with things you should stay away from.
There's a huge difference between friends and gangs. Gangs would never truly have your back in life, unless it's over some bullshit turf crap, and they'd never be people you could count on or trust. I'm so glad I managed to avoid all that when I was a kid. I dread children growing up in neighbourhoods and schools nowadays.
