I would love more album reactions! I knew you were into music because of all the cool albums on your wall, but I never expected you to do reactions, so this was a pleasant surprise. Personally, I loved this album, even more than Mercurial World. It might even be my favorite album of the year, but I need to listen to it a few more times to decide that.
@@trisharb I very much want to do album reactions! But the issues is I’ve heard every single reaction worthy album and I was scared of copyright but it seems I can still get the important big moments on here and put the full version elsewhere 👀. Maybe album relistens since a lot of my time my memory can be fuzzy with the massive amounts I’ve heard. Yeah I’m going to give this listens allll weeek! And even going to relisten MW tonight! But I’ll try to sneak in some new album reaction content. I know I’m doing one whenever Tyler drops so there’s one planned 😂
@@EdsExperienceI get it, it's just cool to me how some things work right away for people while others don't, I didn't like cry for me the first listen and now it's my favorite
@@gonko638 definitely. I remember I hated blonde and Igor on my first listens and now they’re some of my favorites. It took me 5+ to get the Beatles. But I relistened to MW twice and still going to play Imaginal Disk but the growth is crazy and undeniable. I may prefer MW since it’s more conceptual and digital but Imaginal is insane
I enjoy the reaction but it seems you're not a fan of their more quirky choices which is something I adore about this band. I love an unpredictable album, which keeps things interesting. This album is a lot to process on the first listen but there is so much to latch on to. Watching T.V. is one of their best songs
@@nileshollowthorn yeah definitely the change up and those chaotic elements can be hit or miss. But the relistens are doing wonders. Still some minor issues but it’s still wonderful and filled with so many amazing sequences. But I agree a lot to handle that first listen I’m going to relisten to MW as I definitely need a refresher. I’ll get to it once Cry on Me isn’t on replay 🤣 Thanks for tuning in!
I think you’re approaching these songs the wrong way, they’re not traditional song structures because they’re meant to progressively build to big moments. The entire album is a journey but so is each individual song. Personally, that approach is so much more interesting to me than something I can predict over and over again. Also, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone immune to Fear, Sex before.
@@snappytofu2301 definitely not traditional which I do love but maybe a bit too sporadic for me. Even after listens and play through I can’t deny the journeys and where it goes is incredible. Seems I’m fighting between loving it and think it’s overwhelming. Think it’s just my producer self speaking 😂.
@@EdsExperience for sure an unusual (not ordinary!) album. But it wouldn’t be psychodelic if it left you comfortable and not at least a little overwhelmed haha
@@snappytofu2301 definitely 😂. Plus I’ve been relistening to Tim Hecker this month so I’m use to the more minimal and repetition. So what an album to somewhat get me out of that 😂

Saying watching tv and tunnel vision are some of the weaker parts of the album is crazy but to each their own
@@gonko638 just a first reaction so maybe it just came off wrong. I’ll be relistening all week, even as I type this!

It just gets better!
good reaction i like when people honest
@@DestroyerRPCM5 thank you! I keep it honest. Plus it’s just a first reaction so it’s not like this is my forever opinion on it.
They used to be in a prog rock band called Tabula Rasa
ok

it was painful watching you not shutting the fuck up during watching tv outro
give it a chance, it was the best part of the whole album
@@lordestan8477 lmfao 😂. Thanks?
And it’s a first reaction so that’s just how I reacted 🤷🏽♂️. And the best part for me was Angel on a satellite
