While other people wore Aqua di gio, Davidoff Coolwater, I wore Eternity EDT. The performance would be called beast mode in today's world due to most fragrances being watered down. I still think it is a masterpiece. I'm in my 40s so I don't care if young people say, "That smells old!".
As a young person when I saw it on my dad's set of fragrances I decided to give it a spray and thought it smelled horrible, but over time it sort of grew on me and now I love it so much I got a bottle myself

I just received this and its an absolute LOVE for me! I do love the edt, I did as a teen and still do in my 30s, but the EDP is just STUNNING! Easily for me top 10.
I had the OG Eternity back in 1993, which I loved! I bought it again hoping for a trip down memory lane but there is something missing. As other commenters have said (and as I've read on numerous forums) the reformulation happened awhile back and now it's just different. I wonder what component is missing from that OG formula, if anyone knows I'd love to hear it. I would also like to know how the new EDP compares to the 90's EDT.
The edt is very similar to cool water. It's soapy and green with aquatic notes. I'm not old enough to know the 90s eternity but I enjoy this it's undoubtedly inspired by Pierre Bourdons masterpiece Cool water.
I love eternity but the longevity just isn't there anymore (In my opinion) so I was glad to hear they made a EDP. I hope it has better longevity than the EDT.
Great review! As always. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a sample of this today and I thought it was a beautiful shot back to the past. Yet, I will agree it is its' own fragrance. Uniquely matured, like a fine wine but true to its roots of the original. I thought they nailed it out of the park with this one! It will be going in my collection for sure!
Niiiice. The OG edt used to be one of my go-tos when everyone was wearing ADG. Wasn't as boss of a scent, but it always took me back to simpler times. Eternity, Truth and Crave were the 3 decent freshies from CK outside of One. Definitely will be trying out this one.

I like the scent but it reminds me of my father to the point where I can't really wear it.. Im going to try different flankers though I just don't wanna smell exactly like my father. This is his signature scent.

To my nose this one has a kinda azzaro pour homme vibe a fragrance i really rock. To me it doesn't smell similar to the original one. I do love both.greetings from the canary islands
Nicely done as always. In the late 80's early 90's you would smell Eternity for Women everywhere! The scent I wore at the time was Dior Fahrenheit, but switched to Eternity for Men. Loved it, lots of compliments but then a girl I started dating, who was a pilot, brought me back a bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male from England. It was new, awesome and wasn't in Canada yet--she said it had caused quite a stir in the UK. I recently re-purchased Eternity for Men and while I enjoy the scent, the trip down memory lane and am glad to have it in my collection, I likely won't wear it all that much...except at home for nostalgic purposes!
Somehow the cypress ambroxan mix gave me an almost sandalwood kind of impression. Definitely agree that its got a soapy green feeling to it, the sage and lavender especially being rather soapy. While I like it, sage always reminds me of my Oma and Opa in Baveria so I can't really see myself wearing this too often.
I still love the original Eternity despite having dozens of frags now. Looking forward to getting my nose on the eau de parfum. Great review as always.

Used to wear eternity edt back when I was (16-20), which was about 12 years ago. This was my main aftershave lol, my ex gf absolutely loved it. Like the fragrance but kinda overused it way too much. Gonna give the edp a go and see how I feel about it.
I sprayed the edp on myself today at the store .. I was pleasantly surprised of how nice it is . If I didn’t know it was eternity I would not have guessed it .. there’s nothing about this scent that reminds me of the original.
Still got a little juice left of the edt version. Still a masculine banger imo. Wreaks of musk and man. Go's very well with this brisk weather we're having.👍

I have the eau du tolliete how many sprays did you use when applying it cause I love the smell but it’s quite week idk if putting enough on cause atm I’m in colder weather but will soon be in warmer weather will that effect the strength
EDP struck me as VERY different initially. I had to test it 3 times over the course of one week. The opening note reminds me of a Pine// Fresh Cut Herbal Spice smell. Idk how to explain but the open is very different that EDT. However, it does dry down to resemble how the EDT opens. If that makes sense! I’ll be picking up the EDP very soon. Glad I got accustomed to it because the bottle is beautiful and I want it in my collection

1989 paid $100 for it because it was freaking fantastic..that SANDALWOOD o my.. CK at the time had 3 fragrances...obsession, escape and eternity..then came CK one..but that original eternity was to die for..
Eternity edt smells amazing. The only thing I don't like about it is it dried down into a powerdy smell and the freshness from the opening goes away. Does the edp do the same?

It's just a label slapped to fit some categories. In fact all perfume are pretty much ageless as long as you're just vibe with it and call it a day

I have worn Eternity for nearly 30 years. I am moving away from CK fragrances as the longevity and projection, is horrible.
Right CK has weak projection longevity but they got some pretty nice smell scent under their belt though.
I have ordered my EDP from fragrance direct plus Eternity flame :)
