Such a lovely collection and each with its own purpose. A good idea for a random thoughts and just because journals - I don’t I want to ruin my positive journals with my ranting so end up using my notes on my phone but the act of physically writing is so cathartic!
what a beautiful collection 💖 this video in particular and your content in general really made me want to get into journalling again and gave me some very tangible inspiration on how to get over the feeling of not having anything interesting to write about and/or get away from the exclusively whiny/ranty style i used to do as a teenager and on occasion since (not that there is anything wrong with that, it can be very cathartic!) and start including my love for stationary and reviving my artistic strain all at the same time, by doing 'themed' journals 🎉 picking up and taking hobbies seriously for the mental health benefits they provide means i now have tons of things to write about and illustrate 😇 so thank you so much for helping me heal (from burnout btw) and keep the videos coming in 2024! i look out for them every sunday, even if i don't manage to comment often 🌹
Thank you so much, you're comment has really touched me. I'm glad you are finding my videos helpful. I love being able to share the hobby that I love so much with others. I hope you continue to journal along with me in 2024! 😀✨
@@JodiLakinArt i'm not quite there yet (still not actually journalling, just taking notes in three 'themed' sections of my little notebook like i started doing a while ago - one section for neutral information, one for inspirational and aspirational thoughts or ideas and one to vent frustration - all just keywords without visual embellishments, but already giving me many mental health benefits) but the 'building up courage' phase has definitely begun. i've had this happen with those other hobbies: the process begins with just exploring any hobbying/crafting content online and returning to those channels where i'm very comfortable with the overall vibe of the creator. then some time later i realise that i actually also very much like the particular craft they're doing but still can't see how to get into it myself, so i just keep watching them for the vibes and then after some more time something suddenly clicks and i realise that i've been picking up all kinds of details, that now form a cohesive strategy for me to start doing the hobby/craft myself, and then it's only up to battling (or soothing, waiting out) the anxiety, playing it out in my head and hyping myself up until one day the conditions are just barely good enough to do the first steps - and after that initial challenge i'm usually kind of unstoppable and able to engage with way more videos too - so it's really just the best win-win process and i'm sure i'll get to that last stage sooner every time 😊

Thank you Anika! I absolutely agree, plus the writing just flows so much better if you don't intend to share those rambles with anyone.
A lovely video….I am late to you as it’s April already but always love to see how people use their journals ….inspiring! X
I love your lineup 😍...subscribed!
Thank you yay!!! 😄✨

This looks so good 😊😊
Thank you so much 🤗✨
Nice video, what you described at the end is called morning pages.
Hi! Where is the flip through of the Okinawa journal? I would love to see it but couldn’t find it. I used to live there 😊😊😊😊
