I agree, Avienne's vocals were phenomenal on Gravity Of Fall but she definitely developed her vocals even more on Illuminated. The entire band progressed, the future is bright for Vintersea and I can't wait to see what they do on their new album they're working on as we speak!! Now, where is the dragon for us to slay one-handed while on a tight rope over a volcano with a princess on the other side with a ring of fire surrounding the tree that she is tied on with some branches that extend towards the fire... Well, anyways... I can't wait for "Crack of Light"!

I have to say i love the "wheel of subgenres" (Allegaeon reference 🤘) style in your work. You dare to explore and be creative, not afraid to shine in different ways with no bars held back from deviation of sound within an album. It's creative, fun to listen to, and I'm sure fun to play, amorphous in nature. Hats off to the bull! (That's you Vintersea) 🤘🤘🤘
I love this too! Bands that aren’t afraid to expand their range and be a hybrid of numerous genres and subgenres are so much more interesting and effective. Single genre bands can be pretty boring tbh. Not all of them-there are definitely masters of single genres. But the best musical minds and talents have a wide range imo🤓🤘🏼
We have a lot of love for Allegaeon and their "wheel of subgenres"! From the beginning, we set out to make the music that we wanted to listen to, and that means bringing together a LOT of influences and finding ways to make them sound distinctly...VINTER-y. We hope its working!
This is one of the best bands I’ve heard in a long time. Masterful songwriting, technical brilliance by all the musicians and vocalist. The only criticism I have with this video is Avienne wearing glasses is just too sexy. That should not be allowed!

This was my first time watching the video but I already listened to this song 3 times today on account of impressed I was by every element including Avienne ‘s stellar harsh and clean vocals! And don’t get me started on her mind blowing vocalization/ vocal runs toward the end ! Either way , every song on both ablum is out of this world ! And would you believe I was air shredding in public while listening to your music in public while on my walk lol. I.e when I was on a swing lol. Yup , I’m that kind of quirky geek 😊.
