    How to tie a loop knot. There are a lot of knots that can be used to tie a loop in a rope. In this video I chose 12 of the coolest, interesting and useful knots.

    Interesting way to tie an Alpine Butterfly knot. Any reason you did it that way? It looks way more difficult to remember than the way I leaned it. Pull the middle loop under the third loop then up over and through both the first and third loop.

    There's another loop in the middle type knot, the square knot, it starts with a loop with a square knot in the middle and the loop is pushed down thru the square knot.

    the i wonder if you miss the last pass of the rope in the carrick loop, you pass under,,, and the carrick is from under , to over to under again

      Yes the knot shown does not have the same structure as the carrick bend. To achieve that you would have to go over the first loop formed with the tag end - NOT thru it.

    Pretty sick suggesting it be used to snare a small animal
