@@mintbell6722 i agree with you about the technology part. synthv doesnt appeal to me at all. that being said theres still a lot of great recent vocaloid music out there, you just gotta keep searching
@@mintbell6722true, everyone seems to follow a certain trend, the popular ones has lost its soul. Underrated channel usually has unique approach and fresh, but they don’t get enough support to be popular.
My theory is that we have two close friends (or it could be a couple, whatever works) have just graduated from high-school, or one of them graduated, and they have been separated (either by moving to completely different areas or the one going to college has little time to hang out with the other), and so they "drift" from each other. This song is like them saying their goodbyes to each other and missing each other very badly.
What is everyone's interpretations of the song? I believe someone very close to Miku(not necessarily romantically) has died, and she blames herself for their death ("The red drops dying my fingers"). This person talked her out of killing herself, or maybe stopped her some other way ("I prayed to disappear, so why are you hugging me so tight?") and Miku loved them very much for that. But one day, the person she loved killed themselves, and Miku blames herself for not seeing it and saving them like they saved her. thats just what i think tho
+sad green alien That's an interesting take on it! My interpretation was a bit similar. Miku was depressed, and she wanted to disappear. As she mentioned at the beginning she was becoming an adult, and perhaps growing up was too much for her. The only problem was the the person she was talking about still cared about her, and because of this she didn't want to disappear. ("Why are you holding me so tight?") He/she still loved her, and she partly wished they didn't because she wanted to die. At they end, they "faded away"- perhaps they either passed away or she just became less significant to them as time passed, and eventually Miku had no one else to live for. Sad, but that's what I got out of it. :(
+sad green alien The description of the song in Project Mirai says it's about losing someone important and how memories fade. The video follows a girl as she wanders through a city, finding herself in darkness only to be guided to the light by fireflies, and at the end of the song, it pans away from the girl to show she's a sketch on a piece of paper. Depresses the hell out of me.
+sad green alien Drop the "I beleive" part. You've conceived the story(interpretation), for you at least it is real. Everyone has the capability to create their own story(interpretation) of everything. If they see it, it's not something to be doubted, questioned or beleived in, it simply is. Only after it comes the part in which interpretations clash and then you possibly come out with one you like more..
just imagine it Two people like each other a boy and a girl. Everyday they see each other but what the boy doesn't know is that the girl is depressed. The girl lost her family at a young age and is made fun of at school and one day she just couldn't take it anymore. She grabbed her sharpest knife and started to cut her wrist. The boy came over and saw her laying bloody on the bathroom floor. He picked her up and hugged her tightly crying into her. she asks "Why are you hugging me tightly not wanting to let go.... when I want to dissappear?...." He croaks out "Because I love you with every bit of my body and I don't want you to go.." she starts to fade away as the blood runs down her arm but she hugs him back as tight as she can she begs "please smile for me it's what I want to see before I go.... you're beautiful smile" he smiles for her and she smiles back letting go of his body before completing fading away leaving him crying because the last thing she said was "I'm sorry.... forever know.... I love you....."
why would he come in without knocking? and how does she disappear into thin air? when the police get there they will probably find him guilty since there's a knife and blood all over the dude
ItsJenniBear I made this on the spot >~< I apologize if it's very inaccurate but it's not like I was making a story to publish it. Even then most stories and movies are very inaccurate as well.
I feel like I’ve been searching for this version of the lyrics for a long time. I remembered seeing them or at least similar ones from a MV vid using MMD(It was Miku singing while a band played), the video got taken down by someone & I’ve been desperately looking for the lyrics ever since but though I was seeing things since I couldn’t find a similar translation.
One of my Favorites in my Sad Vocaloid songs Category. xD If you want songs like this, Try listening to Calc and Dear. They have a soothing tune. But they're really sad.
so they had a full version, i only heard from project sekai, this song was cool but only 2-3 minutes and finally i found the full :D (i'm sorry for my bad english)
Haha, the song doesn't belong to them, but it's a song that they both like or can relate to that the song. And btw, Miku doesn't own the song; she's just the voice. The song belongs to the person who wrote it and used Miku to sing it so that would be Keeno. Hope that clears some things up~
+Christopher Bigelow There's a also a video version of glow available on iTunes, it's the one with the MMD PV so it's the original song but it's a video.
I have had two of my subbed videos blocked worldwide over the past 3 days. I feel your pain. Copyright by Sony Records (Japan), is what I'm dealing with. I'm heartbroken.
As nice as this song is, I was really mad it was Mirai. Songs this slow, like this one, Soundless Voice, and others just... Shouldn't be in Rhythm Games.
*Plays Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX.
"This game is so cute!"
*Looks up lyrics to songs.
"This game is so depressing!"
Project Mirai gets a lot of the songs' #stories wrong or just too sugar coated or something, point is, it ain't right~
+Lynette Bernard why the fuck did I put a hashtag on stories? •-•
+Lynette Bernard You gotta admit, Glow was by fAr the most beautiful music video on there.
Donald TrumpIsntTheFuckingIlluminatiChillWTheMemes Eh, I kinda liked Kimi no Taion better -^-^-
Lynette Bernard Uhh...which one is that again :D ?
i refuse to believe that this is a DEBUT song
Such was the golden age of vocaloid songs, truly wonderful

This song is so much better when I'm not playing it in a rhythm game
I've only ever listened to the Nano version, but it feels like a whole different song listening to Miku sing it.

beautiful song yet sad story 😭
I really liked the intro outro guitar part

This is at the very last of the Project Mirai DX song list. I regret not completing the game years earlier because of this song.
This song makes me cry for some reason
I'm still listening
I am crying, in a way, because of how incapable I am to experience all the beauty there is to get to know of.
But I love you, that's the best I can.

Well, if you don't like the translation, why don't you have a go translating it? -.-
Its Miku's song.
what is the meaning of this song?
the chorus reminds me of OWARI NO SERAPH
"YuuGure no..."
yeah, it's the worst pun ever...
i'm not japanese
yes
Is this, like...Miku Append or something? She sounds better and deeper.
Personally, i think the Glutamine version is better :P
This is the worst translation I've ever seen in Vocaloid videos
