I often listen to foreign music while I'm writing so that I don't mess up the words of the story and start typing the lyrics instead. Plus, it just sounds really cool, the foreign pronunciation n' stuff.
This is one of those songs where whenever you hear the first note, you'll start sobbing because there's so many memories attached to it and the nostalgia and how you wish everything was still the same back in the time where you started listening to this.
Almost 8 years ago this song was the first song I sang on my old Smule account. I don’t even remember if this was one of the vocaloid songs I was obsessed with or not, I only recognize the song’s name and the cover photo. I thought I’ve already forgotten the lyrics, but as soon as I heard it again just now, I can perfectly sing along with Miku like I did in the Smule recording. It almost brought tears to my eyes. I was only around eleven at that time, now I’m almost twenty. To think that my younger self and me now still share the same interests and are still very much alike makes me very, very happy. I always thought that I kept losing a piece of myself each year I grow older. I am no longer happy doing some things I used to love, but here I am, smiling and laughing when I realize I can still remember the lyrics very clearly and sing this song like before.

I love how you can interpret vocaloid songs any way you wish. For instance, apparently this song is supposed to be about a sad love. Well I've always thought it was directions to Wonderland (Idk "Alice" immediately makes me think Wonderland) and a girl is escaping reality in the forest of wonderland but the only way you can find it is when you go alone. And she's saying the only way anyone can find her there is if they go alone. She mentions how her and another person used to go there well I pictured her and her friend as imaginative children playing there until the friend grew up and left. I don't know //shrug
I'm 5 years late, but to me I feel like this song is about someone losing their best friend. The best friend left because they fell in love and now they have their own life, they are going on with their life normally, but apparently someone is still stuck, alone, in the past..

Fullkawa Honpo's sound has really evolved and changed. However, the one thing that has stayed consistent in his work is the element of spring that it captures and the beautiful poetry that he uses. He was my favorite Vocaloid producer back in the day and moved on to become one of my favorite music artists. His sound is absolutely lovely and the feelings that are compelled in it are difficult to express easily. His flawless ability to invoke both nature and the natural feeling of human loneliness in his music is what makes him an outstanding musician.
Man this song brings back memories. I remember listening to this in middle school when I first got into Vocaloid and it was during the middle of summer vacation when I had everything I wanted back then. My closest friends, my backyard where we went swimming in the pond and ran up and down hills, and the safety and closure of my childhood home. Back then, I didn't really pay attention to the lyrics because at the time, I couldn't relate to them. But now that I'm older and things have changed and people have left, it hits hard. I remember that I was told that would grow out of Miku hatsune/Vocaloids. Well here I am loving it even more. The lyrics are soothing as a lullaby and peaceful. I've been listening to this song for about a year and a half, and I always liked it. It was so beautiful and calming, like it could put you to sleep. この雰囲気の中に急に出てくる「だぜ」がアクセントになってて大好きなのですが、「行くんだぜ」と英訳の"go alone there"のthereが「だぜ」と同じような響きになってて好きです。
中学の国語の先生が、日記にこの曲が好きって言ったら先生も好きって言ってくれてすごく嬉しかった。
