Yeahhh it took me about three weeks because I was searching with a pretty unhelpful agency at first … 🥲 the same day I contacted other agencies was the day I saw the most rooms and found mine ! Honestly if you know what you want it can be surprisingly fast to find a great place☺️ KU dormitories will be perfect for your first semester! I was in CJ in my first sem and I have really good memories, it will give you time to figure out life in Korea ☺️ my tip for when you’ll try to find your place is to use the app Naver부동산 and not only 직방(zigbang) 🫡

Omg, that is so exciting !!! 🤭💗 I did the whole process in Korean but I'm quite sure you can find English-available agencies, especially if you go to a university neighborhood ! If you're going there as a student tho, there should be a lot of easier options than renting an apartment (dorms, goshiwons, share houses....), you can definitely check that out ! (make sure you visit the place before signing anything!! 🥹). I hope that helps 💗

Hiii im not sure if your from the states or not but if you are would you say living in korea is relatively cheaper than the states? Like housing and food wise or is it about the same because South Korea makes less hourly wage?
Hii ~~ I came from France so I am not sure about the US, I would guess that depending on states and cities, the living costs would differ (I may be wrong 🫠). Considering that Seoul is a huge capital city, I would say that it is relatively cheap comparing to other cities of same development in the world. To give you an idea, my rent per month is about 420$ a month, with that price I would hardly find a place in my home city in France which is not even in the top 5 biggest cities of the country ..! What is very expensive about housing in Korea is deposit …. usually crazy high 😓 Food is also relatively cheap when you eat outside!! Hope that helps ☺️💗
