    Saw the great Otis Rush on NYC at Tramps around '92.He did 'Laundromat Blues' in tribute to the just then recently passed Albert King. In fact the horn line from this time 'Right Place' is from Albert's 'You're Gonna Need Me'. But enough about Albert,lol, as he is doing here, Otis tore shit up that night!!! He is going off!!! May they both RIP.

    Blues is all about timing and making the most of the least amount of notes. Otis was a master at this, he could play interesting solos with just a handful of notes and form complex melodies with just the top 3 strings. That is not easy.
