What they don’t understand is if you don’t have protection at your job, you have to hire a lawyer on your own and defend yourself in any case which would cost you maybe $1 million. I’m in western NC; we were fortunate and only lost most of our home due to a massive fallen tree; but we are safe and together. Roy Cooper is our governor, a Democrat, and he waited one week before sending any aid. He still hasn’t activated the 82nd and 101st Airborne units, and the members are chomping at the bit to help, but they need an order! Harris didn’t send FEMA for an entire week. We are strong, and are surviving thanks to the many individual volunteers, churches and charities!
