I am so excited to get my Halo extensions!! I lost lots of hair from Covid and Luxy has been such a self esteem booster big time! I had to start with clip ins, but I am now 2 Luxy ponytails (16 and 20 inches) 2 sets of clip ins (one seamless and one regular) the hair bun (which is amazing!) and now the halo! Oh these instructions are so helpful. Just got them delivered, really happy. I can definitely see the wire, so I have to work on layering over this. I am Indian and I chose Off black. Perfect color, there is however one gray hair in the extension haha. I tried it on, and my natural hair is a little wavy so it doesn't look totally right yet, but I will straighten my hair first and then try it on again. Excited to take them for a spin for a night out this week!!

wash the hair first, if u wash ur hair extensions first it will usually thicken them up. then, take all the hair underneath and pin or braid it underneath so u dont have to deal with trying to blend all that hair and leave a small section on top to cover the extensions. hope this helps :)
It won't be obvious at all if applied correctly. After you apply the Halo, the weight of your hair laying on top will also help keep the wire in place and conceal it. 💗

That looks like a lot of hair, but don’t be fooled. Even the two clip pieces have so much hair attached but the ones they send out are ridiculously tiny 😜 Luxy used to be expensive but for really good quality, now it’s just expensive. Maybe they’ll see this and step up the game
This is my exact problems. All brand start off nice and thick and once they’ve gained followers and all the great reviews they lower the quality drastically.
Halo is ideal for fine hair because there are less things you need to cover with hair (ie. clip-ins). The wire is quite thin so it is easy to conceal with your natural hair, even if you don't have too much of it. Halo is also very light on your scalp/head. Hope this helps :)
You can actually do ombre it yourself it's quite easy, I've got dark hair with light brown ombre, I wear clipping hair extentions and die them myself...

So I have a halo that I added clips cause would slide off no matter how I would adjust it but even if have clips closed it still get stuck when try to pull it down
I’m having a really hard time with mine, the sites are very thick and they just kind of stick out I’m not sure if I’m doing it right. By this video it looks very simple but the side of the extension it just hangs and it’s very thick

We may suggest that you try and cover the top of the wefts with your natural hair. Then, the rest of your longer hair can be brought forward over your shoulders. 💗

I essentially have a mohawk that I wear down parted in the middle. I’m trying to picture how the halo would look on my head. Do you think it would look normal on me? I’ve worn tape in for year but I’m sick of the upkeep.
A lot if not most of your hair will be laying over the line, i call it stretchy fishing line lol so you’ll still be able to add volume. I tease my hair at the roots for volume when I’m wearing halo extensions.
We do not suggest bleaching the Luxies. If the set has already been opened, you may want to consider dyeing your natural hair a darker color to match. 💗
@@LuxyHair that's what i was thinking is there a way to add color with out bleaching them? Like semi permint? I had a friend colour my hair once and she didn't bleach it just added the coloured rinsed it out it gave me colour for a couple weeks.

My hair fell thin from sewins and this will allow my hair to thicken again because it’s not going too break it off. So light and long I’m so happy!

I know this is an old question but you can use that root spray used to cover grey hair. Just spray a bit of it on top and the wire disappears.

I essentially have a mohawk that I wear down parted in the middle. I’m trying to picture how the halo would look on my head. Do you think it would look normal on me? I’ve worn tape in for year but I’m sick of the upkeep.

I like volume at my crown so how do i do that with a wire there?????
A lot if not most of your hair will be laying over the line, i call it stretchy fishing line lol so you’ll still be able to add volume. I tease my hair at the roots for volume when I’m wearing halo extensions.

If hair is slightly darker how can I make it match if cant bleach them to color them
We do not suggest bleaching the Luxies. If the set has already been opened, you may want to consider dyeing your natural hair a darker color to match. 💗
@@LuxyHair that's what i was thinking is there a way to add color with out bleaching them? Like semi permint? I had a friend colour my hair once and she didn't bleach it just added the coloured rinsed it out it gave me colour for a couple weeks.
has anyone used these and then worn a headband to conceal that bit of wire you seem to always be able to see? I feel like that would be a good compromise

How often can you wash them without damage?
We generally suggest washing your Luxies every 30 wears or so, with alcohol-free and sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. 💗
I’ve got mine for over a year now and still havent figure out how to blend it perfectly. My hair colour is a little warmer even tho I asked for advice. Didnt send it back because I live in Europe and the taxes are killing my wallet. Here I am still trying to figure out how to blend it well😂 Love the quality but it doenst work amazing for me 😬

Will halo blend well with a bunch of layers? My hair is thin and it's past my shoulders but I do have a lot of layers. I was looking at the seamless collection but I just found out you released the halo collection. Now I don't know which one I should get.
