Absolutely beautiful, this is one of those songs that mentally takes you to another world, to another time in history, similarly Concerning Hobbits does the same... perfect for a movie like The Lord of the Rings. Kudos to you Taylor, this was perfect, not to over the top, you kept to the original very well.
When I see other artists release a LOTR/Hobbit cover, my first thought is usually "probably another failed attempt of replicating the spirit Howard Shore created". But not with your covers, Taylor. Because you never try to replicate, you take the melody and maki it your personal. That's what I love about your covers!

I love this! I love your other misty mountain cover too! Each one tells such an amazing, yet different, part of the same story. The first one you did sounds so full of longing and feels almost empty, absolutly perfect for right before you start an adventure to reclaim something very important to you that have lost. I'm always amazed by how you enhance the original song in your covers. Sure it's nice to hear the melody that brings me nice memories from the movie. But things, that I don't know the proper musical term for, like what you play at 0:44 makes it so much more captivating! I'm listening to it in loop. As for future covers, since you already covered my favorite LotR song with Riders of Rohan, I'd say Bridge of Khazad Dum would make for a nice arrangement too!
