Man i love your guys channel! You use mostly classic guns and most people think revolvers are outdated i dont! Glad to see some one who still carries/uses one today
Thanks man! I think most people forget that unless you are a Tier 1 operator you probably don’t need to carry a AR15 every single day😂 I think it comes down to knowing your likely threats and arming accordingly...if I lived in south side Chicago or Afghanistan I might change my daily carry but I’m more likely to run into a Black Bear then a human where I live👍
@@ForestFirearms same here man im actually putting in a s&w model 27 classic 6.5 inch barrel in layaway as my carry because colts are so expensive i love your firearms you use on your channel beautiful classics! And for a revolver it dont matter if you miss one i think you did good period hands down plus in my opinion 357 magnum is the way to go unless you wanna go 44 magnum like dirty harry lol anyways please keep posting more videos im subscribed for good!
OMG I can't believe I have YT vids on my channel from 9 years ago! That's when I did a video about the grips for the Colt Trooper Mk III. I still don't see that Hogue makes any of the softer rubber finger groove grips. But I did upgrade from the stock wood panels from Colt at grips4guns.com if you didn't do any looking already. I got the "Lamo Camo" pattern made from wood. They are a considerable upgrade, and if you are by any chance looking for any comfortable grip upgrade, they do sell them on the site I mentioned before. I did talk about my Trooper 2 years ago also, you can see the grips if you check the bids on my channel. I do have another nice upgrade in a .357 Automatic, that I absolutely LOVE! My original intention for the Trooper Mk III was to have a magnum caliber handgun to carry while I was muzzle loader hunting. At that time, Washington State had just legalized the carrying of a modern handgun as a self defense option for muzzle load rifle hunting big game. So I opted for the Trooper. I had found a super nice S&W .357 Mag in a beautiful nickel finish or something. But it was too nice to go bushwacking about in the forest. Later at that same show, the Washington Arms Collectors in Puyallup, WA I found my Trooper Mk III. For the price, I just couldn't say no. Not the most beautiful, a few wear spots in the blue, but I bet it sat in a leather holster for years and years and didn't get shot. The bore is super shiny, sharp lands and grooves. Still is even this more than 9 years later. I want to see if I can send it back to colt and have it beautifully deep shiny blued, but then I don't think I'd want to shoot it it'd be too nice. Anyways, nice to see another vid. Particularly on one of the predecessors to the Python.
Nice Work! A Beautiful Way to Celebrate America's Holiday!!! with a Beautiful Colt!

A Model 27 is a good way to go man! I agree about 357 mag, it’s a excellent round that’s good for just about everything. Thanks for the support!
@@ForestFirearms anytime! Hope to see more it would be a pleasure to shoot with you one day
Nice revolver, had one many years ago in my shooting days. Had a set of Pachmayer rubber grips, made shooting it a lot nicer! Great to see one again.

Forest Firearms this question is off topic but what welder did you use to weld your ppsh-41 and how is that going? did you fix it?
It was a old stick welder but I’m not done yet...Red White and Blue Buckslayer is the expert in building these so he would be the guy to ask👍
Hehe you finally got the "trooper" :-D Looks awesome man.
Thanks dude!! As you know...I couldn’t live without my beloved Trooper😉
Type of ammo belt ? Thanks Ivan
It’s a El Paso Saddlery Web Cartridge Belt👍
@@ForestFirearms nice !

A Python for the masses.
True....but it is kinda it’s own thing too...
I was wondering when El Capitan was gonna get a chance to use his popgun
Bonus points if you can get the reference
Do you shoot on state forest land? Cuz this looks like something I'd like to do at some point, just for kicks.
Nice video, like. Forest is also nice, you see these great trees, but how its smell there on sunny day!! I`m right or not?
Why no Italian weapons?
I enjoy this video. (:
Hope you bros post again
Your notions of a good hit are pretty sketchy. Learn how to hit first before speeding up.
Maybe you can post a tutorial for me? All I can find are cat videos on your channel
