I find the problem with people doing RUclips is lack of strategy (and the fact that they are not using a little bit of Famester). They come up with ideas and upload them and post them straight away. They may be motivated for a couple months and may upload 40 videos in that time. 40 videos could be 40 or 20 weeks instead of 2/3 months. Batch and post consistently, don't post everything straight away post it on the same day/time every week. This also helps avoid burn out...

Ok so I started my channel on music recording & production, I work on approx 100+ songs per year & play multiple instruments myself. I'm not very good in front of the camera ( or at least i dont feel like i am ) but other people who have seen it say i come across better than i think. But i am struggling to build the channel. Ive just recently got to 100 subscribers. So i am a very very small fish in this ocean. I know it is all a learning curve & i am happy to learn. But i do wonder what things i could do to get more views, I am sure my titles are not great, but is it more than that? I look forward to any advice you have on this. thanks for your video.
In my feed as I watch vids on youtube. A comment, 'hype' is for those with over 500 subscribers, so newbies don't qualify. IMO there's nothing 'easy' about youtube if you're looking to get monetized. It takes (a lot of) hard work & perseverance, and you need to think about your potential audience & market to them.
Hey Scott!! Long time since I've seen you, you popped up in my feed unsolicited. Back in the day I went to your first Amazon Seller's event in Florida. I was doing well on Amazon until one day I woke up, checked my site and said, who has hi-jacked my channel? It turned out it was Amazon, so it was impossible to fight them and that did me in on that venture. Anyway, a question I have is, I've had a channel for a while but have only posted a few videos on it, to engage this new "Easy mode" that you're talking about, should I create a new channel and start from scratch? It wouldn't be a sacrifice at all, just wondering if there's an advantage to keeping the old channel since it's existed for a while, or if that's a disadvantage in this case? Thanks --Jeff

100K , I’m curious how you are going to deliver this. I’m a 53 year old and have interest in starting a YT channel I think my age was what got you in my scroll. And I was attracted to your thumbnail YT probably knew my interest from previous scroll data. Hope that helps

Ok so I started my channel on music recording & production, I work on approx 100+ songs per year & play multiple instruments myself. I'm not very good in front of the camera ( or at least i dont feel like i am ) but other people who have seen it say i come across better than i think. But i am struggling to build the channel. Ive just recently got to 100 subscribers. So i am a very very small fish in this ocean. I know it is all a learning curve & i am happy to learn. But i do wonder what things i could do to get more views, I am sure my titles are not great, but is it more than that? I look forward to any advice you have on this.

I'd focus on titles for sure.
In my feed as I watch vids on youtube. A comment, 'hype' is for those with over 500 subscribers, so newbies don't qualify. IMO there's nothing 'easy' about youtube if you're looking to get monetized. It takes (a lot of) hard work & perseverance, and you need to think about your potential audience & market to them.

Hey Scott!! Long time since I've seen you, you popped up in my feed unsolicited. Back in the day I went to your first Amazon Seller's event in Florida. I was doing well on Amazon until one day I woke up, checked my site and said, who has hi-jacked my channel? It turned out it was Amazon, so it was impossible to fight them and that did me in on that venture.
Anyway, a question I have is, I've had a channel for a while but have only posted a few videos on it, to engage this new "Easy mode" that you're talking about, should I create a new channel and start from scratch? It wouldn't be a sacrifice at all, just wondering if there's an advantage to keeping the old channel since it's existed for a while, or if that's a disadvantage in this case?

I feel like YT is pushing channels that don't have a ton of subscribers, so I don't think it matters. I would probably post on your current channel and build that out.
