She’s in treatment. It’s a long process. The prognosis will depend on how much or little the cancer had spread prior to discovery, and if chemo and possibly radiation gets a to the metastasis.

Kate passed away obviously in December.
I’m currently going through stage four ovarian cancer. If she is going through treatment, her public appearances will likely dwindle. It sounds like Kate has something similar to my Cancer. We went through the same medical protocol, Please give her a break! If she is in between treatment, she cannot be around large crowds. Her immune system is too compromised. I’m sure she doesn’t want the world to see what chemotherapy does to us. Each round gets more difficult. My heart and prayers go out to her, and her family. This is a dreadful beast of a disease. We love you, Kate! Hang in there.

If she is on chemo, avoiding contact with people outside her family is probably a good strategy because her immune system will be challenged and she is surely pretty exhausted. Priorities are probably her health, her kids and her husband. That is enough.

@@JoannA-sweetly Even so … speaking as a chemo user … you do want to limit exposure every way you can. And, you are very aware of having to pick your battles in terms of what you give your energy to.
