- The King attended a church service on Easter Sunday in his most significant public appearance since he was diagnosed with cancer.
He was seen shaking hands with members of the public once the service was over.
The Princess of Wales and her family did not attend.

I have been through chemotherapy for 17 months. I am sure he will use hand sanitizer once he gets into the car. Even more important is that everyone is outside and not in an enclosed room. His doctors surely will have told him what and what not he should do to avoid any major risks.
Covid protocol is more sensible . His subjects understands and should be protective of their King

I have been praying that they both overcome this. I think they will. I hope Catherine, Princess of Wales can keep her weight up. She is one of the most fit people I have ever seen, she is all muscle and very low body fat for a woman. That is high praise, not criticism. It is good she is so fit going into it, but a concern that it will deplete her. I wish her strength and the ability to eat some doughnuts and cupcakes! Bless them both with the best outcomes.

That is probably the main reason Catherine is not there. She is immune compromised.
There would be hand sanitiser on hand for once the King had finished meeting the public. Immunity, which is shown by blood counts can rise to a safe level in between treatments. The King’s medical team are obviously happy for him to start getting out and about.

@@suej9329Hand sanitizers don't work for airborne diseases but hopefully his medical team knows he's not that much immune compromised to be around crowds.🙏

Easter is a major event in the calendar of the Christian church and as our nations figurehead it was uplifting to see King Charles there in celebration...
It is for people of that faith just as Ramadan is a major event for Muslims and Passover is a major event for the Jewish people. Why does this bother you - you're not being forced to participate and it has no effect on your own life.
