  • There is a buzz on the Tour ATM regarding LAB golf broom handle putters with notable players that have been struggling with their putting having huge turnarounds.
Can the Buzzman become a great putter by switching to the broom?

46 inch lab DF 2.1 here. Bought last fall (lightly) used. Putted slightly better than std with it, and finished local season with a level par score gross (4-6 hdcp generally).
Offseason granted a couple of trips and was fearful of air travel with it & putted fairly well with old odyssey, so left it in basement.
Only brought it back out 10 days ago due to some frustrating results, & wishing I’d done so sooner. 9 birdies in 36 holes is all the encouragement i need to leave it in the bag!
Good review & explainer. Falling in love with mine.

Welcome to the party. I have been putting with a 46 inch putter for over 25 years now and will NEVER go back. Luckily, when they banned anchoring, I was still OK because, for some reason, I never felt comfortable anchoring anyway.
I was playing in a State Amateur qualifier 25 years ago and hit all 9 greens on the front nine and shot 42 because of the yips. Because the claw or pencil grip had not been tried at that point, my only option was to putt one-handed and I shot 37 on the back. After the round, my head pro said I should try his "sternum" putter (shorter than the original broom handled putters back then by about 4-5 inches) because it allowed me to putt one-handed but with way more stability than doing it with a 34 inch putter. He tried to get me to anchor but it never felt right so I just did it the way you showed in the video, but with a little more length. It was a life saver!!

I bought one. Agree that it is great from 20 ft and in. I am embarrassing from long range lag putts at the moment. I just can’t seem to generate enough power. All ideas welcome 😂

I’m finding you have to swing it (stroke length) as just hitting it doesn’t work, if that makes sense

I love aimpoint xpress for reducing second guessing myself. Aim and shoot.

I agree. I was taught by none other than Steve's wife, Meghan, a few years ago.
