Guitar strings work very well, put a slight bend about 2" from the end and spin the jet against it with your fingers, slide it in and out and sight through it till it appears clear. Soak them in a small cup with a bit of carb cleaner in it before and after as many times as needed. Hit up someone for some used guitar strings.
What’s “that little guy right there that goes in the back side”? That’s the only thing I don’t see on mine and all I can get is idle. Trying to throttle up kills the engine instantly.
Just a vent. I found a carb diagram online and that one just seems to lead to nowhere. There’s another next to it though that works the vacuum petcock.
And the only thing I am searching for is a trick to get that carb back in without removing the airbox. It comes out so easy, but it's a fist fight getting it jammed back in there. 😄
Legends have it, this bike is a good candidate for Glenn Helens 24hour endurance race, as an Ironman.

Use a JIS screwdriver (Japanese Industrial Standard) . Fits and protects carb screw heads.
i cant get my carb off and that spring looks way to sketchy to mess with. wish you showed it in the vid
did you change your fuel valve to a manual?
