  • Played on my home 'built' organ (6 manuals), from a 100 plus year old Estey Reed organ, and incorporating 2 Yamaha digital keyboards, 3 Hauptwerk and 1 GrandOrgue computer organs and an Ahlborn Galanti MIDI organ module.
I first heard this piece on a record by one of Sydney Australia's favorite Organists, David Parsons in 1974. In David Parson's style, I learned this piece (and many others) from ear from listening to his record. He became a very kind mentor to me, and asked me to play the organ at his funeral in 2019. Pardon the sloppiness in my playing.

You have a great sound there Col. I've watched you and your organ project over the years and you have made an Estey grow and grow and grow. I can see that you've retained the mechanical coupling to the pedals and I appreciate all the work and thought you've put in to create a wonderful instrument, congratulations and keep playing the great music.

Thank you so much John. That is very kind of you. The sound has improved much over the years. For many years it was the reed organ, Yamaha keyboards with pinhole microphone on a small camera.. now I'm able to capture all (Sadly minus the reed organ) via the multi channel sound desk. Kindest regards, and thank you again John. Col.

It's unbelievable how much fire and passion you performed this piece with. It's thrilling! I love it! it's a very exciting and unique instrument that you've built here, and yet it's your playing that made the whole thing so wonderful🤩👍👍👍

Thank you so much for your kindness. Much appreciated. It's been a long labour of love, and I'm still refining the voicing and finding new sound combinations each week.
