If only we had developed a vaccine for this.
The vaccine doesn’t always work. Healthcare workers and expectant moms have antibody levels check bc of this, and A LOT of ppl end up needing boosters. This outbreak will likely affect vaccinated people as well as unvaccinated.
I know right😂 but apparently it's not just the covid vaccine the floridians are convinced turns you into a cyborg..

Measles, mumps, rubella, polio, small pox...etc. If only there was some sort of shot that can prevent this from happening.
If you are inoculated you shouldn’t have to worry.
Measles inoculations, like other vaccines, weaken over time. Your body produces fewer antibodies for viruses it hasn't seen in a long time. If enough cases start to pile up, everyone will need a booster to reset our immune system and hopefully restore herd immunity
6 of the ninety something in the outbreak of 2019 in Ohio were vaccinated. The vaccine isn’t 100%

I've never heard of measles parties. Perhaps you are thinking of mumps parties... that was a thing because it's a mild disease in children but can make adults sterile. Measles and Dr. Klenner.

The elderly are mostly immune, as they were born before the shots came out and everybody got it then.

Cases related to international travel? And they dont want to close the border?
Florida, Michigan and Indiana are close to the border? Has the USA only *one* border? Ever heard of airports? Aren't you aware that ""closing the border"" does not mean "nobody gets in," right?
Guess what, there are also European antivaxers, and bad vaccination systems in Europe, and a measles outbreak with fatal cases. Not in Mexico, but in Ireland, Romania, etc. Measles is not an eradicated disease. You can get it everywhere, if not vaccinated. And even more in Florida, with its government telling parents that it's fine to send unvaccinated kids to school.
Why is it that you were convinced that ""closing the border"" will solve the problem of diseases brought by European travelers, uh?
By the way, the Biden administration and the Republicans had a bipartisan deal to increase security, screening, etc. Not closing the border, but improve the situation. Trump told his people to drop the deal - because he doesn't want to give Biden "a victory." Is apt for the job of POTUS someone who puts his political gain above the country's safety?
Not they. Trump single-handedly killed the border deal to hurt Biden. Give credit to where credit is due. The fact that he never actually build any “wall” per se also factored.
Otto, Otto, Otto. Viruses and diseases also catch fights ✈️. Seems they found other was to get in the US besides tunneling in or ✂️ through fences.

@@ryancampbell955most red states are strongly against mail in votes, as those tend to be votes for the Democratic Party. 2022:
At least 18,000 Texas mail-in votes were rejected in the first election under new GOP voting rules
2021:
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, said former President Donald Trump would have lost in Texas in the 2020 election if his office had not successfully blocked counties from mailing out applications for mail-in ballots to all registered voters.
2020:
U.S. Supreme Court declines Texas Democrats' request to allow all Texans to vote by mail - The high court declined to immediately reinstate a federal judge's order that would have allowed all Texans to request absentee ballots if they fear catching COVID-19 at crowded polling places.
Texas counties will be allowed only one drop-off location for mail-in ballots, state Supreme Court rules - this means that in a huge county of several million people, with the most COVID cases, and most Democratic voters, they only get one drop off box.
To be eligible to vote early by mail in Texas, you must:
be 65 years or older;
be sick or disabled;
be out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; or
be expected to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day; or
be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.
