      Benni Magnusson strapless 1015 over under deadlift will always be the GOAT. Walks up, grips the bar, easy pull, holds for a solid 4 seconds and has a clean 5 second negative. With nothing but his raw grip strength. No one will ever be that cool lifting over 1000

    Tom is just another level with the Atlas stones. He lifted the 200kg stone like it was nothing. Never seen anybody else doing this with such ease

      Really goes to show how far ahead he is of everyone else on that event. Hooper and Kordiyaka struggling with the last stone, Luke barely got it and then Tom made it look like child's play.

      It's also crazy to think if he didn't do all the amazing things he does back home in his country, teaching building schools and his community, he could be even better.

    A dialled un Tom Stoltman is without doubt one of the strongest men to have ever lived, the way his log press and deadlift have increased is ridiculous, never mind his insane stone work

      Helps he a younger competitor and has one of the largest frames. pretty sure he is taller and and broader than Hafthor and for these pure strength events the larger guys tend to do very well.

    For some reason in my mind the stone lift is the ultimate strongman event. It's just brutal to lift that big round thing you can't even begin to think how to lift, it looks so awkward to have a proper handle on, and these guys just squeeze it off the ground.

    Besides the obvious, sportsmanship is what makes me respect strongman. Especially how Mitchell Hooper failed to load the stone and went to his competitor to motivate him.

    Matt Ragg needs the love, He did an absolutely insane job and its always awesome to see a fellow New Zealander doing so well in anything especially strongman. Great Job I look forward to seeing more of him in future comps.

      This was his Giants Live Debut. He qualified last year at official strongman games, and made it to the final of WSM this year!

    Iron biby is unbelievable!! 😮 so happy that he hit the 230kg log lift. I am training to do a 100kg OHP right now and imagining 230kgs is just unbelievable.

      I’d say he’s somewhere between these 2 comments. 2 x 2nd place and 2 wins at WSM in the last 4 years isn’t flash in the pan stuff. I believe he is on course to be talked about as one of the greatest strongmen but he needs to secure at least another 2 WSM wins to get there
