    Correct me If I am wrong. According to my Korean Friend, ㅁ/M will be pronounced as "ㅂ/B" if it is located at the 1st syllable such as: Mwo becomes Bwo (What); Michin becomes Bichin (Crazy); Mian becomes Bian (Sorry) and so on. While if M (口) located in 2nd or 3rd syllable, then it will remain probounced as M... such as Omoni (Not Oboni), Ajumma (Not Ajumba)

    I got into Korean culture through BTS in 2017,and ever since then I wanted to learn korea but I was in school at that time so I could not focus on Korean properly now I am in college I still don't have much time but in this lockdown I came across your vidoes and I got a hope that I can learn Korean too,the way to teach and explain things it's just so simple and understandable .I tried to learn Korean through a institute too and it was a communicative course of 6 months and my teacher was a Korean too,but to be honest it was just a waste of time because there where so many students there that I could not focus properly and one time I gave up on learning Korean but then I found your videos and it gave me confidence to learn this language. I downloaded all your videos and now I am making notes and studying properly too,hope one day I will be able to speak fluent Korean too.

      hello! I recently discovered that Viki has a "learning subtitles" option, where they show you subs in your language and in korean at the same time. It also allows you to click on the korean words and it shows you the meaning (but I don't recommend this too much as it's as if you were using google translate, korean can be tricky haha).
      What I'm doing with this is writing down the words or expressions I find interesting. I also rewind these scenes so I can get the pronunciation correctly. It's a great vocabulary exercise!

    In the indian alphabet, the consonants pa, pha, ba, bha, and ma are in the same group, since they are phonetically related, yet distinct in our languages.each has its own letter. the word speciies each of these letters distinctly, if you interchange them the word becomes different.
    in korean, only 3 distinct letters cover these 5 consonants. pa and ba are clubbed together as pieup/bieup. pha is different (phiup).
    and then there is meieum as a seperate letter. I understand pa becoming ba, since they are serviced by the same letter, but even ma becoming ba? thats unexpected, and confusing

    I have a question about your video about the date and it is just not that important but Wait so if the 31 of x month is 삼십일 then what is the 30?

      I see whatcha did there lolz but tis prolly jus 삼십일 일 😂😂

    • @KoreanwithMissVicky
      @KoreanwithMissVicky  4 года назад +2

      @@67chevyride Yes it is 삼십일일, you should pronounce 일 twice haha which might feel a bit uncomfy at first. But you'll get used to it :)

    • @mathamour
      @mathamour 4 года назад +1

      30삼십 + 1 일 one + 일 day = 삼십 일 일
      30삼십 + 0 영 zero + 일 day = 삼십 일

    TBH learning a 3rd language while you already know 2 is very easy because if one language doesn't have a similar sound second one definitely has a similar one..
