I was actually surprised to hear Chris get choked up when he says, "He's gone! I tried." since he comes across as being a very tough guy.
Fcken hero dad. Even Boulder-punching Chris couldn't do anything. If you follow the plot seriously and you don't think it's just another resident evil then this game will take you emotionally.
I was fine until Ethans heavy breathing. Not sure why but thats what broke the dam for me. Hearing someones fear of death is truly horrifying, especially when there is no hopes of saving them.
I think the real question is why go so far? to save another man's wife especially the one that shot his wife... I mean doesn't he have a grudge against Chris?
Have you played or seen the story of Resident Evil Village? But honestly, I do get what you're saying, even if it was revealed that the person Chris shot was actually the main villain, it doesn't make up for not at least telling Ethan from the start rather than hiding it from him until close to the end.

Personal choice, but I don’t really like players that talk a lot or make multiple jokes or even how they talk down on what the characters do, because it feels as if they’re really overlooking the true meaning of what is happening and taking the time to understand it. Of course, there are those like 8-Bit Ryan, Markiplier, and Jack, but despite how silly or loud they may be, they I at least appreciate them not continuously talking or making relatively unnecessary comments when big and important moments like this one was occurring and allow themselves to be immersed into the game, especially players like Hollow and NoahJ456. I will be honest when I say I teared up when I saw this, and it was very heartbreaking.

I really like Hollow's reaction. He's the only one who bawled at this like I did. A very empathetic guy unlike the rest.
