What made this moment even more emotional was the voice acting of Ethan and Chris. Both of them had their moment of almost crying over what Ethan chose to do and what it would mean for the world and for Ethan's wife, Mia, and his daughter, Rosemary. I was actually surprised to hear Chris get choked up when he says, "He's gone! I tried." since he comes across as being a very tough guy.
Fcken hero dad. Even Boulder-punching Chris couldn't do anything. If you follow the plot seriously and you don't think it's just another resident evil then this game will take you emotionally.
I was fine until Ethans heavy breathing. Not sure why but thats what broke the dam for me. Hearing someones fear of death is truly horrifying, especially when there is no hopes of saving them.
I think the real question is why go so far? to save another man's wife especially the one that shot his wife... I mean doesn't he have a grudge against Chris?
Have you played or seen the story of Resident Evil Village? But honestly, I do get what you're saying, even if it was revealed that the person Chris shot was actually the main villain, it doesn't make up for not at least telling Ethan from the start rather than hiding it from him until close to the end.
This could have been emotional and compelling if they just shown the face at the end then players would be sad and understand his heroism as a father.Overall the game is still enjoyable and good to replay many times with unlockables but next time they should balance flashbacks and other stuff's.Even angryjoe knows it and he laugh hard at this scene if it wasn't cheese or dramatic much since this timeline is almost as the same year at the book here.🙁😢😭💻✔👍
Personal choice, but I don’t really like players that talk a lot or make multiple jokes or even how they talk down on what the characters do, because it feels as if they’re really overlooking the true meaning of what is happening and taking the time to understand it. Of course, there are those like 8-Bit Ryan, Markiplier, and Jack, but despite how silly or loud they may be, they I at least appreciate them not continuously talking or making relatively unnecessary comments when big and important moments like this one was occurring and allow themselves to be immersed into the game, especially players like Hollow and NoahJ456. I will be honest when I say I teared up when I saw this, and it was very heartbreaking.
Right? A lot of them just seemed emotionless during this scene and it honestly made me feel like I was the outsider for crying during it. Really appreciated Hollow and Noah too since their reactions were similar to mine.
That's called the "bittersweet ending" Where technically, it's a happy ending for everyone, big crisis avoided, big bad destroyed... But there's no way you can feel happy about it because it came at a heavy cost.
I could only take Dashie because he’s funny but pewdiepie and jack and 8bit I hate because there all on Mia like she should know why Ethan isn’t there or even asking Chris about where he is like y’al..

Chris always gets choked up talking about dead teammates
Ethan Winters sacrifice was legendary for becoming the best Husbad, Survivor and Father Of The Year!
So right, sucks its the end of Ethan Arc, and now rises the Rose Arc
@@PaganMin671 Cuz they would have needed to buy the royalties to play the gigachad song.
At least Ethan Winters didn't die in vain, he managed to save and protect his daughter from harm
He went out the TRULY Greatest Dad of the World.
In all Resident Evil game the most saddest is Ethan and Piers sacrificed
And they both sacrificed themselves in Chris's hands.
@@firemario8126 true that more sad 😥😢😞
Eithan may have been in two games but he made a impact on us all. An when it was father I I played the game cause he was one amazing father
True
It's sad how Ehan went through all that pain just to sacrifice himself.😪
As Lieutenant Joseph Turner from Call of Duty WW2 said:"No sacrifice too great!" Ethan Winters made the ultimate sacrifice.
*My reaction to the end was like hollow, I cried a lot*

Regardless of everything, i guess he had still hopes that he could had escaped along with Rose, which is a life he wanted all along. Truly a tragedy.
i was so hoping someone would point this out!!
I'm gonna reference something SuperButterBuns pointed out. If Ethen really was dead they'd have showed us his face.
I really like Hollow's reaction. He's the only one who bawled at this like I did. A very empathetic guy unlike the rest.
I just couldn't take Marz playthrough seriously, since she was mostly laughing through the serious points.
She was also eating alot.
she is boring
“Goodbye rosemary..”
The moment where everyone cries.

Well, they did a good job making this emotion but they should add the baby crying when the bomb go off could make people more emotion i guess haha

Can someone tell me if there could’ve been a way for him to survive? I don’t wanna believe he’s gone.
His body was crumbling and his vision was starting to black out... sorry
He's not gone he is somewhere in our hearts, he will always be somewhere in our hearts and is somewhere else now.
Ethen winters is best father, best husband he sacrifice his life to save her daughter and wife
