I loved it! Using plaster compound many years and I would have never imagined something like this.
YOU INSPIRED ME. LOVE YOUR TECHNIQUE and great outcome! Love it. Thank you!
Lovely. Love all the texture. Like the “border”. I like industrial decor. I think I’ll get some industrial wheels to put on the canvas as well.
Awesome work! Thanks for sharing. Never thought to use joint compound. May have the try it when I start creating my art. Thanks again!
I like it! I also like how you both contributed to this piece of art.

Wow That looks great! I did a small one last week Just to see how the material is to work with and it came out pretty good but I picked up a few tips off of your video and feel better about doing a larger piece now.
Thank you so much! You got this 🤗🤗
Wowwwww.....I wish you had shown how he did the circles
Very nice!!!
My husband and I appreciate you beautiful Queen Nikita immensely for ALL of your AWESOME tips! 🎉🎊Your artwork came out sooooo beautiful! My husband showed me this video and we went to Hobby Lobby to purchase our canvases and they were still 50% off. I started working on 2 of the medium sized canvases last night! They turned out FANTASTIC! I plan to paint them later today. I saved the large 36 X 48 one for my husband and I to work together on that project. 😄Once again, thank you sooooo much for sharing this video with us! You Rock!!!! 👋👋👋🤩🥰♥
I’m so happy you will now have Beautiful artwork in your home that you created which makes it even more special! I just know it came out stunning! Thank you both so much for watching 🥰🥰
@@nakita_neacol You’re very welcome beautiful soul! And thank you for sharing your awesome home & decor tips! You’re the best! 🤗💕👑🎊
Oooh very creative!
Thank you so much! 🤗🤗
Can I just buy this from you??!!! This is exactly what I want for my wall. Love it!!
Really cool!! Thank you for sharing! What kind of plaster do you use?
I use black canvases and white latex tub caulk from the Dollar Store!
Beautiful! FYI mix the paint color into the joint compound ahead of time in a seperate bowl until u have your desired colors
yes I would have mixed in the acrylic whit withthe compound....i make my own compound....elmers glue....baby powder and white acrylic paint .....works well on canvasses
For those asking here is the link for the exact joint compound I used www.homedepot.com/p/USG-Sheetrock-Brand-4-5-gal-All-Purpose-Ready-Mixed-Joint-Compound-380501/100321605
Amazing
Well done!! It’s beautiful! What is the lamp you have that changes colors?
I love it!!!
Thank you!
Can you tell me what is the material that you are using? Is it plaster? It didn’t crack?
Beautifull❤
Is stucco will be good instagram the joint compound.
😍😍
Thanks
Great job
Thank you so much! 🤍🤍
Very Nice. You could add some of that gold leaf randomly.. that would kick it up a notch..
I painted a new one in my recent upload 🫶🏽 check it out here ruclips.net/video/MWs1eRAflwA/видео.htmlsi=FcK8B8c1wvxjmqPO
Love this! Did you wait for the compound to dry to remove the tape or before it dried?
Thank you! I removed the tape before it dried.
Do you put anything over it so it doesn’t break off if it gets rubs against or leaned on ? I can’t find a way to make it strong after it dries and painted over ?
Can you listed the joint compound name and where you purchased and also that little trap thank you
Hi, this is nice. What is the material? Can we make the materials by self?
Can u tell send me the link which joint compound you used ? I used drydex pink one n result was not that good
I love it! What type of plaster you are using?
Thank you! I’m using joint compound! Already mixed up 🤍
very nice idea and technique...but it should have been painted with and maybe sponge the off white color into it....i would just recommend crispier lines and curves but good job!!!!
I am inspired to get off my ass and create this!!! just picked up my joint compound and ready to go.
I’m curious if it cracked while drying at all. Thanks. Love it!
I showed the painting here most recently!! 🫶🏽 ruclips.net/video/NOtj4PRenmk/видео.html
Please someone knows the name of the compound and where can get it. Thank you
Why did you spray with primer?
Hi, this is really beautiful work.
I have a question, what if I wanted it to be beige, or green, or any other color? Can you mix the joint compound with a little paint?
Hi! Yes you can definitely mix the joint compound with paint! You may have to add a little more paint than expected for desired color.
@@nakita_neacol Thank you! I will try it then! Really nice work btw :)
Once dried does this begin to crumble if you touch it? Or crumbled pieces on the floor?
Not at all
It would be more helpful for anybody that hast done a texturized paint to have the names of products you are using.
This is very cute, what is the name of the painting liquid?
Thank you in advance
Thank you so much! I used joint compound I explain better and left a direct link here in my new one, check it out 🤍 DIY TEXTURED WALL ART || DIY FRAME || CANVAS WALL ART || HOW TO MAKE MODERN HOME DECOR FOR CHEAP

Love this but overtime will it crack?
Thank you! It’s still hanging on my living room wall and thankfully no cracking 🤍
Came out amazing 👏 To be completely honest you should paint your wall. The white wall hides your beautiful painting.
I agree. I think it’s beautiful but it gets lost on the wall.
Should we use gesso before doing textured artwork on canvas. ?
Most canvases are already primed so no need.
How much the price all came to
Hi, did your compound started cracking??
Thankfully no cracking!
How would you make the plaster black?
Hey! You can either mix black paint to some of the plaster mixture or you can simply spray paint after application.
What paste did you use
I usedallpurposejointcompound. Exact link found under this video ruclips.net/video/QJ1Xr6xFYpc/видео.html
We don’t get compound here so what’s the alternative ?
Cement mix with white glue and water
Ratio plz
What size canvas is that??
36 x 48 inches
Did you notice the joint compound starting to crack or fall off the canvas before painting or after painting it? What could you do to cover up the cracks to make sure pieces don't start to fall off the canvas?
Hey Patrick! I did not run into this issue. However my advise would be to let it completely dry and be careful when checking, also use some type of sealant or spray like we did as a finish, be sure not to layer on joint compound too thick as well.
😊
Is the finished product heavy?
Surprisingly not at all!
What is that blue color tool name?
Blue painters tape
How to make this paste
It came pre made, joint compound
@@nakita_neacol can we make it from plaster of paris ❓
People I would not do try this. It's eventually going to start flaking off or cracking. Jointing compound its in the name, it's not meant to be applied to a canvas. Looks good but I would suggest looking up how to make a thick paint compound instead.
I’ll be doing a follow up video, mine has not cracked or flaked. Try not layering on super thick and using a sealant spray as a finish. Thanks
The sound is poor, the sound is in and out
