    What was light for the last 2 hundred yrs? A flux or disturbance propagated through a electro-magnetic field. But then what exactly is electro-magnetic field? Is it some kind of exchange of sub-atomic particles?

    @BrainChild666 The thermosphere can get to around 1500*C. And this layer ranges from 100-700km above sea level. And parts of space where *there is little or no matter* are dark and cold because light has nothing to bounce off of for us to see, and nothing there to give off/absorb heat. Hence, it is dark and cold...

    @Lefty2muzzlez Depends on distance.

    One of the "irrevocable" constants of physics is speed of light in vacuum. But then what do we really know about "vacuum"? Is it multidimensional and folded into infinitesimal spirals like a rabbit hole? Should we be talking of "velocity" and not speed of light. Neutrino has non zero mass and no charge - nil interaction with electromagnetic forces and a non zero interaction with gravitational forces. More musings on this later from me :)

    @pey3b i suppose, the longer the distance the more it could possibly get ahead. but then again that gives the chance that the speed of light to pick up too. i see this almost like an Olympic track race.

    This video clip breaks another law. The speed of sound is faster than light in this one.

    Here is a conundrum. Existence and Awareness of Existence are the two phases of a single coin. One cannot be without the other. Space-time fabric as it is called since Einstein, is particulate and has a fine grained structure. The only ultimate continuam on which the space-time fabric is supported is consciousness itself. Can consciousness exist on its own? IT does. IT knows. IT is this.

    @BrainChild666 ok think about this. light from the brightest star we can see hits us everyday right. but we don't feel any warmer then normally. which means that photons from that star are loosing energy and therefore aren't making it any warmer. and also some of those photons are bound to be lost after hitting some little particles of rock or ice or whatever just happens to be in their way.

    @AirMover49 ok, kind of understand what your saying. but the photons of matter from the sun always maintain the same structure, neutrinos dont which means they are constantly changing or "adapting" to its surroundings of matter. thats the difference between the two because they are ghostly particles and can move through solid matter unlike the sun, which makes it faster for that simple fact. everything on the earth consists of mass, and neutrinos pass right through them. even us.

    We're to a point where we have to redefine light... many primary elements will be re-examined and our definitions refined to a new understanding of non-physical and residual phenomena. These are very exciting times indeed!

    Time is one side of the coin and space is the other side of the coin. Let us call this coin "God Particle". Putting this in lay physics it is a dimension of reality or existence. The very nature of this causes all the observed anomalies such as Heisenberg uncertainty, wave-particle duality of everything and the absurd ever increasing dark matter. The noble prize for physics this year to one such nerd. They should have awarded that prize to me :D

    @BrainChild666 You can change the velocity of light which is vectorial, but according to Einstein's relativity, the speed (scalar) can't be altered. Space is vacuum, and light needs to "hit" something to "warm" it. Perhaps you should check more about physics before criticizing it.

    @Lefty2muzzlez that might be very possible that some one in the future some how gave the info to us in this time line! but man we are so much closer to discovering the time travels

    @BrainChild666 How can you be sure that all the matter in the universe compressed into a cubic centimeter is 10^55 grams? Does this mass account for anti-matter and the possibility of there being dark matter too? I'm certainly no expert by any means, so I'm simply asking these out of pure curiosity.

  • @BrainChild666

    @cgraves4545 Exactly a vacuum is the best insulator for heat. I think 93 million miles is a long way for a photon to supposedly travel without being robbed of its energy. They say that light travels billlions of miles through a vacuum is just absurd. Oh no such thing as a vacuum better stick with the term negative entropy.

    @BrainChild666 space is cold because of the lack of atoms (mass) to create the warm feeling around you. It's a vacuum!

    That's all well and good, but I find it odd how the physics expert at the end says it will change everything with such certainty, without a hint of consideration to different dimensions for example. As if simply confirming the result of the test to be correct would automatically render Einstein's theory as total bullshit. But I'm no "physics expert" so...
    Shall it be proven true, it will be a revolutionary discovery of immense magnitude nonetheless.

    what im trying to figure out is that since neutrinos igo 1 second faster, does that mean u can only go back in time for 1 second? lol dammit i want at least 10 seconds XD

  • @ricktbdgc
    @ricktbdgc 13 лет назад

    you know im kinda getting tired of this BS.. we already know that one clock traveling will read different time than one standing still so time is liquid in the universe, you cant measure speed like this. The problem is individual particles dont have time stamps on them we can compare to one another. It seems that the faster the relative speed different the harder it is to compare on any level. You can bet there are particles that move much faster but they cannot be detected.

  • @Lefty2muzzlez
    @Lefty2muzzlez 13 лет назад

    @sssssssev couldnt it be possible that someone from the future traveled back in time to show us this discovery? think about it. i hear what your saying about dimensions because they do exist. but thats the whole point, now it is possible to reach the 5th dimension of evolution along with interstellar time travel. einstein was half right, and another thing, this conversation of neutrinos wouldnt have happened if we werent evolving so quickly just like neutrinos are faster than the speed of light.

    @massecure360 So if we cant see light it has no effect on us? You think a little photon can travel millions of miles in the vacuum of space where it is -456 and not be robbed of its energy? The Quantum Vacuum Density is 10 to the 98th grams/cubic centimeter. If you take all the matter in the universe (stars,planets,ect) and compressed them down to a cubic centimeter there is only 10 to the 55th grams of mass. Where is the rest of the QVD coming from? Light doesnt move. Walter Russell 1862!
