- The Black Cherry Ear Warmer is an easy twisted ear warmer pattern featuring a lot of texture! I love the texture in this ear warmer - you will find big bobble stitches and ridge stitches that are created by working in the third loop.
This is the first pattern in week two of the Midwinter Crochet Along: richtexturescr...

Thanks for sharing!!! Have a good night!!!
I really liked the way you did this for that twist I’ve done other headbands with the twist and they do it differently and I’ve never adapted well to their version thank you for doing this tutorial like your WAY so much better and directions were easy to follow.
Shut the front door!!!
This is just gorgeous!!!
What a wonderful project! Thank you for this tutorial!
So beautiful! I love all your designs. Thank you.
You’re welcome :)
I must confess, the hat intimidated me and I stopped. But I’m glad I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and made this Earwarmer pattern. It’s so pretty and not as difficult as I imagined. 🤗 Thank you!
Thank you 🙏
So sweet. Love making ear warmers for myself & gifts!
thank you,
Gorgeous! I wish I had time to crochet- I’m still taking down the holiday decorations!
I got 1/3 of the way through the hat and realized I would not have enough yarn to finish it. Frogged it out and now I’m making this.
Nice! 👍😊
I Love that.. ❤️❤️❤️
I keep coming back to this,,so I guess I will have to make one.😊 thx Sarah.
Just finished this one….. and loved it!! Thanks so much Sarah 🥰
You’re welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed it :)
Love this and the yarn! Beautiful! I just finished this one. The 3rd loop is always rough for me. Thanks for sharing Sarah and helping me with the 3rd loop!
Absolutely beautiful ear warmer! Cannot wait to make this pattern! Thank you for the tutorial!

*update: I am a school bus driver and I have made at least 15 of these (and counting!) for students on my bus ❤
@@mariannesalisbury4056 That's amazing!! Such a wonderful gift!
It's lovely n gorgeous yarn
Superbe réalisation bravo merci 🦋🦋
Nice project. Question: What does it look like on your head? Can you upload a photo on your blog or youtube? Thanks.
This is a fun pattern but could chance my yarn to heat wave yarn
Ok so I made this and I don't like how it wants to naturally fold on the edge stitches. Maybe a single crochet on the first row and last?? The bobbles are really cool though.
I do notice that the row count on the written pattern is off. Row 5 should be row 4 and so on
The pattern has R2-4 for working in the third loops, but your video only has R2-3, and you end up with 11 rows in the video but 12 in the pattern. Which is correct?
Was the gray in the color yarn or did you add it. Looking at it on site just appears to be red and black
I laugh at your adult head measurements because most adults are overweight and have fat heads. Or coming from an earlier era when nutrition was actually still in food and did not have to be supplemented we simply have thicker bones and bigger heads so 24 to 26 is more appropriate. Even when I was 18 and weighed 128# and was a size 10, I had a 7⅝ or sz 8 Cowgirl hat that barely allowed room for my very thick wavy hair. It made a mark on my forehead from wearing it.... Because it has to fit tight enough to stand the rigors of horseback riding and wind. And always remember that old people do not need tight pressure on their ears because it actually hurts the cartilage, causes pain .
I increased my foundation chain the 64 and that helps
