What a great video. All of those beautiful carvings and the gondola ride was fabulous. Moo Moo really gets around and he always behaves so well. You guys have a great life traveling around and we get to go with you. Hugs to Moo Moo.
Another beautiful day, even with the mist everything looked beautiful. My father took our family there in the 60s. I'm happy to see that my memories of the redwoods are still the same. There used to be a tree that you could drive your car through, it fell sometime last year. Moo Moo loks like she had a great time. She was telling you- mom I didn't know that trees can be so big !!! 🐼🐕🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾💜💜💜💜💜💜God Bless
Just so you know.... I did watch that 5 minute ad in the middle of your video.... Because I can't afford to be a patreon.... But want to show my support for your channel.... You rock!
Nancy Gebhardt ... my five minute "seventh-inning stretch" video was somebody narrating the story of the tortoise and the hare... I thought that was fair...I do so declare! Love Ausia's videos too, and like you, I cannot afford to be a petreon, but I watch all of the ads, even the long ones-Ausia's amazing content are worth it!
Hi Ausia! Thanks for a memory from my childhood. Amazing place. You'll have to go back some day when it is sunny for the observation deck views. And to just sit quietly and breathe in the freshness. For rainy days, since you're filming in all types of weather, you could pack a small squeegie with you pumpkin cape. Then info plaques or windows could be clearer, if that matters. Your videos are always so fun to watch, and that might give you an edge over other vlogs. This one was so interesting. And Moo Moo continues to impress me with how easy going she is. You picked a good girl there. Thanks for sharing! Stay safe, and I hope things are getting back to as normal as they can be. Onward bound. 💝🐼🎃🐶 (get the pumpkin reference?) Love you all.
Leslie C lovely comment, Leslie! Moo-moo is so smart and obedient-a joy to watch! Such a lady! Did you see how delicately she squatted when she Peed? So demurring and endearing! "See" you in Ausia's next work of video art! God bless you and yours, Leslie!
Carolyn Nunes ..Thanks Carolyn. Didn't see this before I read your upbraiding of that troll. You inspired me to action. You also made me chuckle about Moo Moo's demureness. Lol. Thanks. Hugs and blessings back at ya! Leslie
That was terrific! Thanks much for taking us along! MooMoo needs a raincoat. :0) Your lovely, easy relationship with MooMoo reminds me of my own with my dogs and inspires me to find another wee beast to share my life with - it's been over 3 years since I've been on my own. Thanks for that, too! Onward Bound!
Good job, Ausia. I've been by that place a million times but never stopped. Now, I don't have to go... lol. Thanks for taking us on your trip. Love it.
Wow, awesome video! Loved this so much, rain and all added to the mystery of this beautiful forest. Thanks Miss. Ausia and Miss. Moo-moo. Stay safe and Onward Bound , , ,
Amazing. Ive been many times as a kid but never gotten to do the " Mystery of the trees" before. Definitely on my list for sure, rain and shine as the Redwoods are magical in many ways. The burls often look like little goblins on the trees. Great video even in the rain. I love camping in the Redwoods. Glad they are dog friendly too. Onward bound...

#33 Wonderful Video, Ausia. That's one stop I need to make. Trouble is ... I have difficulty walking any long distance. The Forest is so beautiful. Kinda waiting for a Dinosaur to creep out of the mist.
That's going on my travel list. My mom and aunts traveled up in that area but their tour didn't take them there. What a reat place to miss out on. Thanks for letting us come along. ~db
Chantelle New Bless your ever lovin' heart, it isn't the limbs, but rather their needles that take in the moisture...here's a google search cut-n-paste: "The Coastal Redwoods thrive on, and indeed require, the heavy fogs that are normal daily occurrences along the coast. These 300 foot plus tall giants actually pull moisture into their needles at the tops of the tree where the circulation system of the tree can't pump to. The 50-60 degree average temperature of the area are also important to the life cycle of these trees. These two conditions are limits to the modern day range of these awesome giants. They will grow about anywhere, as evidenced by photos people have sent us over the years of trees growing in such disparate places as Fresno California, Waycross Georgia, Florida and even one hardy voyager in Phoenix Arizona. But they will never attain their true size and stature without the Coastal fogs and temperatures that nurture them and at the same time keep other competing species, such as pines, stunted and sodden." I live in Orange County, in SoCalif., and there are many redwoods, but they are indeed, stunted...but are still beautiful to behold...
Always great to see and hear you gal. Yea Moo Moo! Love these trees. You should love photography, because you are so good at showing it all. Wow! Hugs, safe travels! Faye aka: MommaFaye

Wow Ausia you have a very very beautiful video. There is so much to see in this video even with the rain and fog. Never you mind about your orangeness, your dressed for Halloween. Did you notice no wind the stillness must be interesting. The carving were different, it's getting to be the thing to do with stumps from trees, they have several in our park now. looks very nice.Great Job Ausia :D
I would've never gotten to experience this area if you would not have video'd it. Thank you so much! And, Harley Haters are not worth anyone's energy esp. when there is beauty like this to see. Keep it up, Girl :)
Thanks for letting me travel along. The tram ride reminded me of a summer trip to Jackson Hole, WY my bf and I took long ago. After a scary ride e got to the top and it as very cold. There was a gift shop selling sweatshirts! Lol
TheOldFarmersWife please come visit us here in the granola state-you'd be welcome! We're chock full o' nuts-and fruits and flakes-but everybody just claims, "it's just a phase we're going through!" Carolyn Nunes 😂😂😂. Sorry if you're from southern CA, I've been there once & that was enough 😊 I got to check off driving in LA rush hour traffic, from my bucket list. 😜. Always heard it was the worst, but No different than any other major city

The mist and fog is how redwood trees take in moisture from their limbs.
