⭐️⭐️⭐️💗 *This is so beautiful and outstanding!!* 💗⭐️⭐️⭐️ The visual setting for this masterpiece sets the mood for this lovely Christmas Carol. 💕 There is a magnificent rim-lighting effect from behind you which emanates from the effectively lit green Christmas tree! You present us quite eloquently, with your exquisite black dress forming a nice contrast that compliments the yellow lighting! There's been so much thoughtful care go into the preparation of this video and it has been so brilliantly done! 👍
What a lovely piano intro! 🎹 The stereo sound of the piano seems to have an ambient effect which sounds terrific; along with Chiara playing some gentle guitar work for the accompaniment! 🎸 At 0:21 you start singing and oh wow!!! Your voice is absolutely gorgeous! The emotion you have in your voice is so heartfelt and moving! It truly is! 😊 At 0:31, you give a little bit of your own touch on; ♫ "All is calm"♪, then again on: ♫ "All is bright"♪, which is the most beautiful singing!
At 0:59, I wasn't expecting the surprise dynamics in; ♫ "Heavenly peace"♪, with your vocal emotion which you put into the song! Goosebumps!! At this crescendo point of dynamics, it seems noticeable that there's a bit of reverb on your voice. In saying this; the vocals have been impeccably recorded! What a first class job! 👍 It sounds fantastic! 🎧 🔊 Also I might add previously at 1:04, the way you sing; ♫ "Peace---eace"♪, is so delicately handled with such tender falsetto. It's pure beauty!
At 1:14 after the first verse, you look up at the camera with a warming smile. It seems the video was shot from a higher angle this time. By doing so has effectively filled the frame with that radiantly lit Christmas tree! 🌲 There's also some terrific video inset overlays of you and Chiara. 🎥 So much work has gone into this!
With the introduction of a little guitar improvisation at 1:16; Chiara now leads for the second verse. There's nice harmonizing with yourself more subtly in the distance. I would have loved to hear you a tad louder; though Chiara is taking the lead here! 🎤 She is putting wonderful emotion into this song.
At 1:20 and 1:24 there's a little arpeggio treat of piano notes. Emily, your piano playing is top class! At 1:52 Chiara's singing puts moving emotion into; ♫ "Christ the Savior is born"♪. Majestic! 😊 It's worth noting that how your voices blend so well together. Each complimenting the other! (especially in the harmonies). Chiara has a harder sound voice which cuts through the mix; and you Emily, have these incredibly buttery smooth vocals which are so warm textured and irresistible! 🤗
With the third verse, you resume at 2:11 with; ♫ "Silent night"♪, with some nice counter-melody touches by Chiara shown in the video inset. At 2:19 you sing; ♫ "Son of God, love's pure light "♪. This is incredible! Goosebumps again! Your singing is sensational. 😃 There's some more added touches by Chiara in the background and we are treated with wonderful harmonies again. Then at 2:45 you sing; ♫ "Jesus, Lord at thy birth"♪, with such beautiful singing! Your voice is so pure! 👍
Now at 3:04 we are in for some more! We are Blessed with such emotionally moving singing as you both re-sing the first verse together! There's great harmonies and clever counter-melodies in this wonderfully arranged performance. This is so awesome!!! 🎶 🎤
At 3:26 as you sing: ♫ "Mother and child"♪, you seem to play an alternative piano chord on "Child". What a musically moving chord; or is it just the way you played it and enhanced it. Excellent work there Emily! 🎹 This is sounding so sublime! At 3:53 is a nice little touch of a piano arrangement as you finish the song and then we are treated with your lovely warm smile at the end. This performance is indeed a treasure! 🌼🌷🌱💕 😊
_In conclusion..._
Wow, what more can you say to this masterpiece collaboration; other than been "blown away!". The singing here is really exceptional. The emotion that has been put into this performance is quite staggering. This is one of the best performances of "Silent Night" that you will ever find. When you simply just "listen"; you are swept away with an emotional calming feeling; as you soak up the tranquility that this performance has given us. *This is absolutely super sensational. Bravo!!!* ❗️
What a year 2020 has certainly been!! This wonderful Christmas message, full of hope and peace; has been beautifully conveyed by both of you! The singing is fabulous and is so uplifting in this top class performance! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
