Oooo buddy the hair jig gets er done ….. that Striper gave you a nice fight. I was guessing around 8 pounds. Great way to start the morning. Got ya some nice spots on the worm too … hey when you know what works ….throw it. That last one was a beauty. Good stuff Dana !
Nice fish! I tried to fish right when the cold front hit but it was very slow and difficult. Can you start showing your fish finder on those points/what you look for in a point? I fish a lot of points and I feel like none of them hold fish.
Thanks for watching! I have on some previous episodes, but will try to remember to do it more often. I usually look for bait on the points, usually there will be fish if there is bait.
I fished lake Lanier my whole life and I have got skunked the last 2 time I been out on the water on my kayak. What baits do you throw and where? (Shallow, deep, brush piles?)
Thanks for watching! Just take a look at the videos on my channel, there is a lot of information about what to throw. Lately, with all of the cold fronts, it has been kind of tough. You can always catch them on a Texas rigged worm. Look for rocky points.
Glad to see you have your stamina back
Thank you! It's not all the way back yet, but it's getting better.
Glad you were out and caught some good fish!
Thanks for watching! I am glad I can still get out!
Glad to see ya back out making stuff
Thanks Jake!
Nice day to be out there Dana! That striper was wearing you out in the beginning! Nice work! 👍👍
Thanks Kyle! Nothing fights harder than a Striper!
You're a Jedi and the Force is with you ! That beard is looking righteous man ! 🤙🤙
Thanks! I don't recognize myself anymore!
Wow the first one was peeling line!! Smoke come of your drag? LOL! Looks like your getting stronger and stronger good for you! 😁👍
Thanks PH! Those Stripers are strong! I am getting a bit stronger, feels good to be out there again.
Great job cashing a striper. One of my favorite fish I really got to try this year to get together with you. I really would like to meet you
Thanks Carlos! I am a big fan of Stripers, one of my favorites also.
Nice striper. I caught my first one with a crank bait from the shore this week. Fun fish.
Thanks! I usually catch a lot of them in the winter, but I think I missed out on them this year.
Enjoyed your vid Dana, you can ALWAYS count on the worm.
Thanks Chauncey! It is my go to bait when things are slow.
@@FCPFishing And after watching you, it's mine too.
Nice striper and bass!

Hardly ever see you throwing a crank bait
I'm not much of a crank bait fisherman, but I occasionally throw one.
