Welcome back to Lovebites. The song was the band's debut after a two-year hiatus and featured new bassist Fami, seen in the video, and was the band's first official music video back with Fami. They often depict themselves as a shining bright light dressed in white as if their message is they are a light in the world of darkness with a promise to bring a more classic heavy metal back into focus. that is just how I have interpreted it, so I could be off on that. They called themselves the lone wolf of heavy metal so that is a big clue to me. #Lovebites 🔥🔥- Wolfpack 🐺

Yes, this is the title song of the album Judgement Day. I agree with you that they sound somehow symphonic. I mean their style is not typical symphonic metal but the structure of many of their songs is somehow like symphony IMO. I guess It's because the main composer Miyako is a high level classic pianist. The former bassist Miho was a typical authentic orthodox plucking bassist but Fami in this clip is basically a slap bassist. She was a beast slap bassist since she was a high school girl. LOVEBITES - a bright emotional flame in an otherwise dark colored metal world - positive, hopeful, constructive and "happy" . . .
Asami said about Judgment Day video that its about fighting with your own fears. We all have light and dark side. Darker side of them represent their fears and if you can defeat your own fears and insecurities, than you can do anything.
They are recording something new these days for end of the year release, new album of ep nobody knows. But the fact is that Lovebites is the future of metal for sure. Love these girls...

No, you don't sound like an idiot. You sound like most peoples' brains trying to process a new Lovebites video.
This was the first single they dropped after coming back from a 2+ year hiatus during which 1) they lost their founder and bassist; 2) they couldn't play live because of the pandemic; 3) two of them had babies; and 4) they conducted a global search for a new bassist.

I usually don't focus too much on lyrical content the first time I check out a song, unless the lyrics are the intended focal point. I'm all about the riffs and the visuals, then I'll check out lyrics later.
