このゲームは「中華大仙」というタイトルからも想像できるように、中国を舞台とした、コミカル調の横スクロールタイプのシューティングゲーム。通常のショットに加えて、ステージの途中で出現する扉に入ることで、法術を使用することができる。ラーメンのドンブリやシュウマイなど愉快なキャラクターが特徴的である。全5ステージ。
ストーリー:
仙人マイケル・チェンは、数々の法術を会得する為に修業の旅へ、そこには数多くの試練が待ち受けている。この旅は、仙人の最高位である「中華大仙」の称号を得る旅である。

Great shooter, the backgrounds looking much like paintings. Have this on a Japanese PS2 Taito compilation, and very recently picked up the Famicom version, which is a fine port of the arcade game. Maybe one day I may pick up the SMS version, that is if it isn't too expensive by then.
