I had the same with the diver. They mentioned banging their male-named coworker and I had to rewind to the beginning to find the name of the person giving the statement because I couldn’t remember it. It was Antonia. One letter shifted would’ve made it some very interesting representation.

Mine was Alone, from season 1. I really like the way TMA approaches horror. The podcast isn't like "be scared!" It actually delves into deep fears. Some episodes are take it or leave it when it comes to how scary they are to you, and some of them might even be laughable for all that you fear the subject matter. But there will always be at least one that will scare the shit out of you.

They also probably change the memory of specific people (for Graham maybe police, co-workers, other college students, teachers etc. and for Sasha the MI coworkers ofc). My theory from this episode and what we know so far: Of course it was that smirke's building. I knew it from the start it would have something to do with him or his students, mostly from how there is something underground that is not used nor built nor have access to from the drain system or something of the city. And I'm sure the priest and the others the witness saw weren't actually part of the above church, but were part of the below supernatural church, which is why the ones at the church didn't remember the witness; because they never saw her. The priest took the camera because there was evidence there of the existence of the dark entity, though it sounds more like lots of dark entities, all being part of the same entity like Michael and that maze were part of the spiral entity. As for miss king, the "new girl" she said is probably not!sasha, so she can see the difference like the witness could with not!graham. I don't know if it was on purpose here as with not!graham (I believe the not-entity knew that the witness was watching graham like it, so it on purpose didn't change her memories of him, and probably even did the change while she was watching, in order to have fun with her. I mean, what the not!graham had told her about with all the looking they didn't know how close they were with each other, I believe it wasn't about graham and her living so close but about it watching graham at the same time as her but her not noticing it, you know?) so maybe there are rules or limitations about the not-people's powers with memory change. Since she'll be coming more often to the institute for the library, I believe miss king will be a major factor of finding out that Sasha was replaced with not!sasha.
I think there are entities associated with certain fears like the magnus institute is the fear of being watched The one with long johns cave or the coffin i think is of claustrophobia or being buried alive The fair childs are open endless expanses The lukas family is being alone That cult church is the dark The vampires and trevor the vampire hunter and the werewolf is hunting? There's that other cult with the fire which is hard to pin down Theres the circus of the other and the anglerfish and the university students which is harder to pin down too but i think its things that are pretending to be human but not quite? Theres micheal and the beings like him which idk tbh but i think they are related to madness Theres the guy at the slaughter house and the i think its well killing and slaughtering This next category is messy but i think its actually 2 seprate ones The fear of like rotting meat and bugs is aligned with jane prentiss and the fear of being eaten and flesh and just body horror The fear of spiders and being controled is with hilltop road and the table And finally this one bugged me but last episode it comfired it with mary keay the these entities have names and the one with death and the ww2 guy and the guy who cheated death and the guy who could see peoples death is tied to what mary keay called the end?

That’s so weird… the Not-Thems can change legal documents and digital photographs but it seems weirdly fickle when it comes to people. Like, the woman from the Not-Graham episode knew it was a replacement, but no one else did. Everyone from the Institute (except maybe Elias) thinks Not-Sasha is Sasha, but Melanie is an exception… what exactly are the rules for their powers??
This episode is so well written; it actually made me sympathetic towards the characters cus the whole situation sounds absolutely terrifying to be in, i’d start crying lmaoo 😭

Probably for the same reason that girl from Graham and Not!Graham’s statement was the only one who seemed to remember him. There’s always someone that ends up noticing while most people are completely tricked.
@@hollynotholy I think it's rather that the not entity can't change the memories of a person who directly witnessed them take over. They also probably change the memory of specific people (for Graham maybe police, co-workers, other college students, teachers etc. and for Sasha the MI coworkers ofc). However, not Sasha didn't know that Melanie saw Sasha before

@@TransilvanianHunger1334 oh sorry for not being clear! what I meant was that the woman was probably really distressed about what happened and wad saying that someone died, but the people who were comforting her didn't take any action to look down there; though it could be because she wasn't making sense. I think it's a bit sketchy that she implied they took her camera, too
i would say that they may have been used to any paranormal experiences. perhaps that’s why they are so understanding, as they’d seen it before

My theory from this episode and what we know so far:
Of course it was that smirke's building. I knew it from the start it would have something to do with him or his students, mostly from how there is something underground that is not used nor built nor have access to from the drain system or something of the city. And I'm sure the priest and the others the witness saw weren't actually part of the above church, but were part of the below supernatural church, which is why the ones at the church didn't remember the witness; because they never saw her. The priest took the camera because there was evidence there of the existence of the dark entity, though it sounds more like lots of dark entities, all being part of the same entity like Michael and that maze were part of the spiral entity.
As for miss king, the "new girl" she said is probably not!sasha, so she can see the difference like the witness could with not!graham. I don't know if it was on purpose here as with not!graham (I believe the not-entity knew that the witness was watching graham like it, so it on purpose didn't change her memories of him, and probably even did the change while she was watching, in order to have fun with her. I mean, what the not!graham had told her about with all the looking they didn't know how close they were with each other, I believe it wasn't about graham and her living so close but about it watching graham at the same time as her but her not noticing it, you know?) so maybe there are rules or limitations about the not-people's powers with memory change. Since she'll be coming more often to the institute for the library, I believe miss king will be a major factor of finding out that Sasha was replaced with not!sasha.

There's that other cult with the fire which is hard to pin down
Theres the circus of the other and the anglerfish and the university students which is harder to pin down too but i think its things that are pretending to be human but not quite?

This next category is messy but i think its actually 2 seprate ones
The fear of like rotting meat and bugs is aligned with jane prentiss and the fear of being eaten and flesh and just body horror

And finally this one bugged me but last episode it comfired it with mary keay the these entities have names and the one with death and the ww2 guy and the guy who cheated death and the guy who could see peoples death is tied to what mary keay called the end?
