- 1967 Vintage Emenee Mr Peanut - Peanut Butter Maker! - Time to check out another kids toy food maker set. This is a peanut butter maker from Emenee. I have shown a few other makers and was looking forward to seeing how this one worked. The other two had issued with blockage from peanuts. This one was surprisingly quick at making peanut butter. My initial guess of 1-2 hours was way off because there were no issues! It did take under 1/2 hour to fill the little peanut butter jar. I'm glad it all worked and was happy with my peanut butter sandwich.

It's so amazing! You put only peanuts in, crush...and then the amount of OIL that comes out in the crushed nuts is ridiculous! You would never guess there would be that much!

I own one of these. Got it as a gift from my Daddy. I love Peanut Butter. Mine works great and it is fun to work for your food once in a while.
I seen this video so many times because of how satisfying it is and old memories on how I used to watch this when I was 5. I mainly came here also to pay respects for the death of Mr. Peanut 😭😟. R. I. P MR. PEANUT

I have one of those sitting on my shelf, haven't used it in a year. After i saw your video years ago I just had to have one.
I had one as a kid and loved it my aunt got it for me. As a normal child I didn’t always clean it properly, that old peanut butter would taste rancid.

I had one of these when they first came out. It worked really well, but gosh you had work hard for just a little bit of peanut butter. I will tell you.... I still prefer this kind of freshly ground peanut butter than all that jarred chemical laced crap in stores now. GREAT video LPS Dave.... thanks for the trip down memory lane!!!

Nice vid! i still have mine, got it brand new when i was very little. u might be interested to learn that the little jar came filled with tiny paper plates. u wd put one on the yellow plate while cranking and then u wd have a little serving of freshly made peanut butter to eat off the little plate ;)

Interesting little machine---Use the Planters salted or unsalted snack nuts in the machine-they have enough peanut oil in them so the peanut b utter isn't dry-whether you make the butter in the hand powered machine or a Blendtec,or VitaMix blender as I make my peanut butter.I use Carolina Nut flavored peanuts-those make DELICIOUS peanut butter!!Use their Ranch flavor.

Oh yes--I LOVE the crust on bread--but if you had to trim it off-use a knife rather than the press-the knife would do a cleaner job without crushing the bread.

That took a surprisingly short amount of time! And it looked very tasty, although it looked the slightest bit dry-- was it or was it fine, or could you not tell with the jam? BTW jam is with fruit chunks, jelly is without, I believe.
