Glad i typed in wasteland weekend n found your channel. Tarvas are very good jet boats very solid. Be very fun boat with a 454 in it snd a place diverter on the jet.
That’s awesome! Where did you get your interior kit from? That’s the one thing that has a stump for when we are ready to put it all back in. We don’t mind supporting local upholsterers yet he can get very pricey.
😂😂😂😂 So true. I honestly think that it was all dried out so much that whatever bacteria was left over had already turned to dust. Haha!!! It was bad for sure! And we still have more to go. 🥳🤮
We honestly didn’t think it was going to be that bad considering that we have already cleaned it out once before. We are investing in masks for sure. Inhaling rat poo poo is not fun. 🤢🤮
Weren’t these same boats also built by another company called Mr. Ed? My family and I had a Mr. Ed, but I believe it had a Ford 460 V8, a Berkeley jet drive and I believe it also had a 4 barrel Holley carburetor. The former Mr. Ed shop is not too far away from where I live which is in Clovis, California.
Not too sure. But now you got me interested in finding out. We are on the central coast not too far from you so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were from the same builders.
We did. It actually kept jamming up on us and it was worth it to just do it this way in order to spray out as much dirt and debris as possible in the process.
For sure! We actually were using a wet vac in the video yet we only needed it for certain parts of the project. Most of what we were picking up from the hull were huge chunks of wood and foam that kept jamming the vacuum tube.
We will be back on it soon. We have a lot of commitments to handle first for Wasteland Weekend before we can get back on it. Next task will be for us to put some fluids in the engine and see if she turned over! Woohoo!!! 🤘🏼❤️☠️🏁
Nice project boat for sure a good base👍
Thanks! It is a “Ran when parked” special so we are excited to dig into the motor and see if she will turn over.

We are stoked you found us! These are amazing boats. We can’t wait to get back to the rebuild once wasteland is over. Welcome to the clubhouse!
Just did the same exact restoration on my Tarva

Where is your masks? Safety first! At least you have gloves ☺️ Looks like a fun project! Can’t wait to see how this turns out!

LOL kids these days afraid to get dirty. Awesome project.
AGREED!!! He’s normally a bit braver to jump right in but I think the poo poo scared him a bit. Haha!!!

The hose is for a sump pump , previous owner probably sucked the water out with the pump and left the hose in the boat
Makes sense.
The hose with the metal end is off a fire pump or an engine to pump water out of a sinking boat!
Are you talking about the bilge pump? Or is it another pump I’m missing.
This boat ever get finished?
This boat had to take a backseat for a bit while we got situated with some other projects. More content from this project coming soon. 🤘🏼❤️☠️🏁
Did anybody think about using the shop vac and sucking all that water out of it along with the trash, duh

wet vac would have been way faster.
