      That’s awesome! Where did you get your interior kit from? That’s the one thing that has a stump for when we are ready to put it all back in. We don’t mind supporting local upholsterers yet he can get very pricey.

      😂😂😂😂 So true. I honestly think that it was all dried out so much that whatever bacteria was left over had already turned to dust. Haha!!! It was bad for sure! And we still have more to go. 🥳🤮

    Where is your masks? Safety first! At least you have gloves ☺️ Looks like a fun project! Can’t wait to see how this turns out!

      We honestly didn’t think it was going to be that bad considering that we have already cleaned it out once before. We are investing in masks for sure. Inhaling rat poo poo is not fun. 🤢🤮

    Weren’t these same boats also built by another company called Mr. Ed? My family and I had a Mr. Ed, but I believe it had a Ford 460 V8, a Berkeley jet drive and I believe it also had a 4 barrel Holley carburetor. The former Mr. Ed shop is not too far away from where I live which is in Clovis, California.

      Not too sure. But now you got me interested in finding out. We are on the central coast not too far from you so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were from the same builders.

    The hose is for a sump pump , previous owner probably sucked the water out with the pump and left the hose in the boat

    @nickviner1225 Год назад +1

    The hose with the metal end is off a fire pump or an engine to pump water out of a sinking boat!

      Are you talking about the bilge pump? Or is it another pump I’m missing.

    Did anybody think about using the shop vac and sucking all that water out of it along with the trash, duh

    • @etm540clubhouse
      @etm540clubhouse  Год назад

      We did. It actually kept jamming up on us and it was worth it to just do it this way in order to spray out as much dirt and debris as possible in the process.

    wet vac would have been way faster.

    • @etm540clubhouse
      @etm540clubhouse  Год назад

      For sure! We actually were using a wet vac in the video yet we only needed it for certain parts of the project. Most of what we were picking up from the hull were huge chunks of wood and foam that kept jamming the vacuum tube.

      We will be back on it soon. We have a lot of commitments to handle first for Wasteland Weekend before we can get back on it. Next task will be for us to put some fluids in the engine and see if she turned over! Woohoo!!! 🤘🏼❤️☠️🏁
