I couldn't care less about someone showing their new Lamborghini, but if someone does some general maintenance on literally any car I'll watch for some reason. I'm sure the discs would've lasted a bit longer but pretty crusty at the edges. Hate those retaining clips. Nice tutorial mate.
Thanks 👍🏻 maybe because there’s more satisfying feeling fixing something than having too much money to go and buy a Lamborghini etc.. maybe but always best to have a good set of brakes.
I know I forgot to mention on the video and it’s been a while now.. am sorry I can’t give a definite answer as I don’t want to tell you the wrong one..
Hi, i would say yes you can but i've never had a car thats been under warrenty, in a daft way it could void it? You could just do them as you dont have to tell them that they have been done i guess? Maybe as it is under warrenty they will replace them free? sorry i cant be more helpful on that one.
@@nkazimulobethula Thinking about it,,, it will probably come under as a service-able item so they will not replace it.. In that case I would just change them yourself. Least you can buy some good quality discs and pads/or just pads if the discs are ok

I am very disappointed you never snapped any bolts as I seem to be the only one that does hahahahaha
Good video mate!
Lol only because it’s a new car and not like 12 years old like ours 😂
Thank you 👊😎👍
Great safety advice too.
Hello

Thank you watching from Bahrain my brother car same like yours Godbless stay safe
Nice video bro. I see your editing is coming on. 👍 Zooms and graphics looked mint.
Thanks mate 😀
Don't suppose you can remember the size of the hex bit you used for the slider pins? Is it the same 7mm as on the fiesta?
Not off the top of my head but it sounds about right
Changed brake pads on my car and them springs are an absolute nightmare,I changing discs soon and not looking forward to them springs again
Oh the calliper spring bar? Yeah they can be a pain. Just keep a good grip with a pair of pliers.. if it pings off it can go a fair distance lol
Is the procedure similar on the renault clio mk5?
I’ve never done a clio but most front brakes are the same
The only tutorial i have seen on the clio mk5 says to go on the service mode on your laptop before proceed on changing the brakes🧐@@FF04ORD
Well done
What size bit is needed for the retaining bolts which sit behind the covers?

@@FF04ORD won't hold it against you if it's wrong. Possibly a 7mm?
@@craigbooker9032 yeah sounds right.. 👍🏻
Hi may I please ask.. can replace my brake pads without taking my car to Renault...my car is still under warranty

@@FF04ORD Thnx so much. I don't think they will do it for free
