Somehow I have more fun with Mahuchikh and Topic. Mahuchick has trouble getting over 180 but flies with ease over 196 and higher, so now she skips the lower bar heights. Once she did just four jumps and won gold. That's the spirit !

She still might have won it think 1.99 was her top but just a few months later when she turned 18 and started jumping as an adult pro she jumped 2.04m and came in second to mariya lasistkene.

Ever notice how many pole vaulters, long/high/triple jumpers go thru posturing and strutting before and in the initial stage of the effort? Maybe they saw other jumpers do it so they developed an unbreakable habit of doing it now and became addicted to it. Like biting nails or sucking thumbs. Many jumpers never incorporated these quirks and therefore handicapping themselves. I never felt any benefit from leaning or prancing prior to my jumps from this. To each his own but it seems to complicate their efforts.

I really don't like the way they are filming. Too up close, they change the angle all the time, I never saw a jump from the beginning to the end in one shot.

Tall girls catch my eye .this event is not easy how they make it look .
To increase performance, I have a recommendation based on physics. These athletes could wear shorter outfits, which would result in less air resistance between themself and the air as they both run and jump. Also, if they wore tighter outfits, this would also reduce the air friction resistance while running and jumping. The downsize or down-point would be that the audience would see more things like camel-toes, the occasional nipple protruding further (and the shape looking more defined), and increased cleavage areas in areas between the breasts and buttocks; however, I believe the Olympic & Championship committee(s) could overlook this. At 1:06:04 it is clear that the athlete is disappointed in the excess amount of material in the clothing she is wearing, as she punishes her clothing by slapping it very hard with both hands! Slapping the clothing is also a scientific attempt, as when she slaps the clothing very hard, then molecules and atoms in the clothing are forced to leave the shorts she has on and float away in the air (you can not see it, but on an atomic and molecular level is is occurring) - it is very similar to when you beat a rug against a brick wall as both atoms and molecules of dirt leave the rug but equally so atoms and molecules of the material making up the rug also leave the rug. Also notice that at 1:07:49 the back of her shirt has far less material than the other athletes shirts on the back - this clearly has less material and less air resistance resulting her to clear the barrier! She also tucked her hair into the back of her shirt which allowed for less air resistance between her hair and the air! All of what I tell you here is pure science and physics! Addendum: Notice at 1:08:36 that her shirt is simply too long in the front (just too much clothing below the breasts! It's simple physics that as little clothing material as possible below the breasts simply results in less air resistance of the clothing! The clothing should not protrude down that far and below the breasts!, and the shirt is not narrow at all on the back - just too much air resistance, resulting in her not clearing the barrier. Bikini styled shirts would simply result in much much improve performance - I do not think the judges or committees in championships or olympics could stop the athletes from wearing bikini styled tops (after all, they are worn in swimming events!)
