True Cross. Soooo many European churches claim to have a piece of the true cross. Helena supposedly visited the holy land over 350 years after the crucifixion. Does anyone REALLY believe she found the actual cross on which Jesus was crucified? I just defies belief. The Romans didn't save things like that. It would have been discarded, and probably decayed and rotted. Nothing would have been left of it. Not could Helena have possibly located ALL of the spots, such as the tomb, etc.
