It’s like the classic rock sound never died. It sounds 100% modern and fresh, but still, at the same time brings back a mix of classic, alternative, and 80s/90s glam metal. But it’s happening NOW. They’re too good, we don’t deserve them.
This is why they have such a huge older fanbase. Sound familiar, but new, I couldn't agree more! Great reaction, please do the Evolve performance from this same show!
You are going to *really* love The Warning's performance of their song Evolve also at the MTV VMAs!! And all of us over the age of 40 know what you mean - hearing new music that is reminiscent of older rock, its one of the reasons we love The Warning.
Yes, it's metal. It's rock. It's punk. It's K-Pop. It's funk. It is Muse meets No Doubt. It is a lot of influences, but still sounds like The Warning. There are not many bands that can create their own sound which is both new and familiar. The Warning sure have done that. Enjoy your journey with them. There are a lot of old rockers who have been captivated by them. The future of rock is going to be female, and these ladies are leading the charge. I love it.
@@jorgegonzales9815 Dude, stop with the prejudice. Kpop has a ton of interesting melodies and things that catch you off guard. Lots of "weird" key changes, beat changes and things to keep it interesting. Plus Kpop has the best kind of fan service that a lot of western bands can learn a lot from to keep their fans interested. A lot of J-rock/metal bands like Band-Maid, Nemophila, Lovebites, etc. adopt those things and are hugely popular. It's not for nothing that they say western rock/metal scene is dying while it's kicking and alive in Japan. I'm happy to see The Warning adopt these things, just look how popular they are!
To record these 2 songs (MORE and Evolve) They had 3 attempts for each songs. one attempt each and it was done the musicianship of this ladies is out of this world
These three young ladies are phenomenal. Their music is explosive and each new song brings more dynamite than the other. I live in Laredo, Texas which is only 2 hours away from Monterrey, Mexico and also 2 hours away from Corpus Christi where SELENA lived. The reason I mention Selena is because The Warning remind so much of Selena. On Stage, explosive talent with no equal. In person, funny, well mannered, no drugs, smoking, drinking or cussing and family oriented. Thanks for a great and well deserved reaction to this growing Legend.
Having started with the Error album and then going back to QOTMS, it took me a few listens before this song really grew on me, but the more I listen to it, the more I love it. As you say, it's totally fun (even more obvious in their official music vid). Great combination and seamless transformation between genres. Is it pop? Yes. Is it grunge? Yes. Is it metal? Yes. Who cares? It's great!
That is an accurate description. If you go through the comments for the official video, More sounds like almost every great rock band before The Warning! I guess that's what happens when you study the classics for most of your life and then apply what you've learned to your maximum ability. I feel lucky to have a band like them in my lifetime. Long live Rock!
I am stopping at 1:00 because I’ve never actually watched them. I feel like I owe it to the band to actually watch them on their official site before I watch a reaction video. 😂😂❤❤I’ll be back.
Hi, and now you have to react to the song evolve at the MTV VMAs. which is even better and much more powerful in every way. greetings from Argentina. 🤘⚡🤘⚡🤘⚡
Their sound is built on a solid foundation of the classic hard rock sound with elements of punk, pop, grunge, even metal. Familiar, but still uniquely The Warning!
keep in mind that their parents played the music you loved in the early to mid 2000's when Dany was 8 - 9 - 10- and Pau 2 years behind, that was their formative exposure,, great reaction
Thanks for the great reaction! These ladies just keep getting better and better, they did Evolve at the VMA’s also, worth a listen an absolute banger!!! Plus not slowing down, performing 2 new songs, Sick and HYCAD(Hell You Called A Dream), on their Mexico tour. Maybe their best yet!!!🔥😊⚡️
Thanks Boudy for bringing these ladies back again. Just like Angelina Jordan these 3 young ladies are music prodigies...superlative musicians, song writers and performers and the just barely reaching their 20's ...... the world is their oyster, best Rock Band I have heard in over 60 years of listening to rock/metal music. You Have Been Warned!!! Rock on Ladies....TWA BTW....that's a "Pau" bell!! 😁😁😁😁
I saw them open for Muse in their home town of Monterrey about a year ago. I remember feeling a little disappointed that it wasn't Evanescence like in the US. I feel so happy that I got to see them. Since then ive been obsessed, my favorite band. I'm 56 years o!d. I can't wait to see them live again, now I know all of tneir songs.
Some fans were nervous after they release MORE that it meant the band was going more poppy, but they recently performed 2 new songs, Sick & Hell You Call A Dream, during the Mexico tour and those make it clear that they are still a hard rock band through and through.
Black Stone Cherry : Lonely Train is the song you were thinking of. I hear so many bands I love in their sound probably why I love them the most! It’s amazing that a band that has a unique sound makes you nostalgic for so many eras!
They had a show to play in Toronto that night. MTV called and asked if they would play. It turned out to be a life changing decision to play those two songs.
What you said at the end about why they attract you, sums up how many of us feel, and why we fell into their rabbit hole. They are keeping Rock alive, and putting their own Hard spin on it. Wait until you hear the new material. You best be strapped in for that. lol
There is a before and after documentary for the MTV performance. Good to watch that. In the After part, when they came off the stage, the MTV producer said, "Holy Shit! That was amazing. I'm now a fan." Also, they were the only band that played both songs on the first take.
I think they are on the verge of greatness. I loved your comment about them being the best 3 piece band on the planet. I really think they are the best band on the planet right now. And not just 3 piece bands. They EASILY takes this 58 year old man back to the 80's and I cannot get enough!
Both Dany and Ale are endorsed by Orange amps, great gear! This song was very poppy when it was released. The studio version is not as gritty as it is now, when TW took it out of the studio. More has so many levels of content and is a great song. I am not one of them dissing this song right from the start. And I am certainly not doing it now. This is the best version of it up to date. Over all TW gave 100% at the VMA´s and they killed it. Great reaction.
That was a nice touch...Will Farrell and more cowbell! Fun Fact: on the original recording of More, Pau used a wooden block and every The Warning Army fan commented on it. Now she uses a cowbell because is cuts through the increased live sounds!
You are exactly right in your opening talk concerning The Warning. I have been following The Warning since 2014 when they came out with the cover of "Enter Sandman". I thought I was going to get to see them in May of 2020, but COVID cancelled that concert. Finally, in May 2022, I got to see them in a small venue (about 300) in Dallas, TX. They of course brought the house down. I took my 32 Y.O. son and got an instant convert to the Warning Army!. The combination of Dani's guitar and vocals, Ale's holding down the line with impeccable base and vocal support, and of course, Pau's vocals and man-handling of the drum kit make it the whole package for this 68 Y.O. rocker that grew up listening to all the great Rock from the 60s and 70s.
This song is so much better live than the MV and they killed it here. Evolve from this same show is another level of badassery. Nice reaction man always enjoy your take on videos cheers. ⚡🔥⚡🤟
Fantastic analysis! Love your enthusiasm for their music, and growth. 🕊❤️ They ARE evolving ⚡️ Great Hokkaido and melodies. They are sooooo marketable naturally.
The use of just the bass line at the beginning is absolutely brilliant!!! Moreover this band uses the bass as such a rich sub melody not only supporting the whole of the song but hooks so hard into my brain that it drives me crazy, in a good way. No other band has ever done this to me.
una de las mejores reacciones que vi hacia la banda con la canción MORE, síguele con mas canciones en vivo del teatro metropolitan cdmx 2022, estoy seguro te encantara!!! 🤘🤘
I know exactly what you mean... is new metal, hard rock, classic, rock, metal, all mixed together in a moderm package... but you can feel it all the same in weird way... you will be blowed away by they performance of Evolve in this same event
3 Pc. with limited back tracks, love it. Really insightful progression of rock, ala pop/grunge. These kids actually created their own niche/genre with this unique sound. I hope the industry hasen't gotten their evil meathooks into these kids.
First song this makes me think of is Heavy by Collective Soul. This definitely screams late 90's/early 2000's alt-rock vibes. But with a hint of En Vogue style R&B sprinkled in. LOL
It's funny- so many, many people, reactors, and others all truly love them. They are beautiful, but in a great way that's not sexual/slutty- so thankful for that. So many people- even me- get teary-eyed like they are all our own daughters- tears of pride. How many people do you want so much to see them succeed?!! They deserve it- the best- because by God- they are giving us the best.
The funny thing is that all generations find something that's familiar in their music. You probably can hear boomers talking about the Carpenters and Iron Maiden in the same paragraph trying to figure out what DPA's music reminds them of.
Espectacular !!!... A ver, Arab man, ¿cuando vas a reaccionar con las CUPLERIAS de Diana Navarro ?.. ¿no quieres flipar ??.. Estamos deseando ver tu reacción con este tema.👍👍..luego no llores.
I don’t think you’ve done anything from their Queen of the Murder Scene album yet, which imo, is still their best album. And the title track “Queen of the Murder Scene” is my favorite song of theirs. Hope to see you do it soon. I recommend the live at Teatro Metropolitan version.
hey Arab, they performed two songs on that awards show… when u gonna react to no. two? I know, I’ve asked u before on another post; but u haven’t done it yet, and u’ve done so many in between. u may have to do “More” again, just to refresh u’r memory before u do the no. two… I’m leavin it up to u now; won’t mention it again. they really smashed it on MTV, didn’t they?! a’ight; on u now @Arab! later!
They got the MTV crowds attention with More…then they blew the roof off with Evolve!
These girls have become BEASTS!!! The best rock band in today's scene!! And it will just keep getting better! They are destined to become LEGENDS!!

Like? I'm afraid he might not recover after seeing that. 😂
Dude i know EXACTLY what you mean!!!
I completely agree with you.
Queens of Rock!
