Once again Abbie you've made me want to put on my walking boots and go out into the countryside. I swear I've lost about one stone since I discovered your channel. Thanks for the inspiration. 👍
Your videos are amazing Abbie and as someone who also suffers from mental health issues i find them very inspirational. You've given me the motivation to rekindle my love for the outdoors and camping. Keep up the good work. All the best
I enjoy watching Abbie’s videos for the same reason. I have problems with depression and love the outdoors. Walking and going to the gym have helped me deal with this. UK is second to none for walking!
I've never seen you so happy Abbie. The lakes and Yorkshire are the most amazing part of this country. I'd love you to tackle the coast to coast one day from St Bees to Robin Hood's Bay xx
Thanks Abbie! This was the perfect antidote to a Monday at work! Looking forward to the next video, wherever those Lake District paths may take you. Have fun, stay safe, stay wild! 👍
We always start the walk to Walla Crag and the surrounding summits from Ashness Bridge and what a gorgeous, colorful walk you had down to the Falls, which we had never seen before, so a particularly enjoyable watch. Cheers Alan
Absolutely lovin these videos, im lucky enough to live within sight of these fells, but have never realy walked as I've not known the routes, these vids also give me a clue as to whether me dogs could do a route, i too consider the fells my happy place, its completely freeing, thers point in worrying about eveyday c#$p when your up a mountain with no phone signal...
Great walk Abby. Out of all the years my mate and I have been visiting the lakes and doing loops of Derwent, and have only recently discovered the route you did over Wallacrag.. can’t believe we’d never been that side of Derwent before, the views are amazing for such a short distance.. and also that lower route you took at 19:00, we’ve walked that road so many times, and never been that way.. will need to have a look when we are finally allowed back this year.
i have been doing some research looking for my first backpacking trip and came across this video never been to the lake district looks stunning. Think of going in April
I agree on how the Lakes just blows you away. I dumped my old life and bought a piece of the North Lakes. The views are stunning off my land, whatever the weather. You can't beat buying a piece of abused farmland and bringing it back to life. You're welcome to pitch any time you decide to walk closer to the Pennines.
Abbie, that was amazing. What diverse countryside. Everything you could wish for in one walk. Absolutely Superb! I've been up many a crag and mountain with you but this walk will take a lot of beating. Loved it - thank you for taking me along. One question - the intro music you use. What is it?
Thank you Abbie for bringing fond memories of Castlerigg back to me as I now live 6,000 miles away. Just love your presentation style and uplifting videos. Fantastic!
Nice one, I was int hat area over Easter, it was my very first time in the Lakes and I loved it. I am a landscape photographer and I took some shots I am very happy with, our weather was amazing. I spent one evening shooting the Castlerigg stone circle which is a nice location with stunning views, presumably that is near to where you camped.
Loved this walk..will definitely do it when I go back in September. Thank you for taking us along Abbie. Can I just say, I’m with you 100% on how the lakes affect you.. it has the same effect on me and my soul too. Heaven on earth.
I stayed at this site a few years ago and did this walk 😀 also did bleaberry fell from the bridge such a beautiful place fond memory's thanks for this 😀🙋🏻
Great watch, good honest video, i bet you were shattered after that drive! It is beautiful country, i wish i could spend more time in the wild in general, work gets in the way 😁 tfs
Great video Abbie, we too love the place, just got back from Keswick yesterday, sorry to leave it behind. Walked around the lake, so this is very familiar. Keep up the good work.
Fantastic footage Abbie! Can totally relate to the feeling one gets returning to their home park and familiar trails! Much THANKS again Abbie and looking forward to more great hikes!
I stayed at Ashness farm last year (the B&B a few hundred yards up from Ashness bridge) and it was a bit scary going over the bridge to get there as you only have about 6 inches of clearence in a regular car! Lovely video!
Lovely video. We were there for the May bank holiday. Unfortunately for us it was a bit of a disaster from start to finish! Absolutely rammed with people and lots of rain. Fingers cross for the nice time.
Yeah! The Lake District - my favourite place in the world. Nice campsite, I've stayed there a few times myself (although I have to admit that the B&B get more that its fair share of my patronage now). And your in the Borrowdale valley which has to be one of my most loved areas of the whole Lakes. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip and look forward to some more videos.
Hey Abbie, what is that music that plays at the beginning and end. It fit so well. Thanks so much for sharing another Lakes walk. I spent 4 days there in 2017 and loved every minute. I kept shouting encouragement to you on the screen. “Abbie ! Follow that sign ! Abbie! Go! Take the left trail! Abbie! Did you remember your special little shovel?!?! Really enjoyed the video. Really great job. Cheers, Patrick
Nice video, the lake district hasn't really been to the fore on my list of hikes but you've piqued my interest and I must look into it more. You're narration is very good and you didn't seem so lost for words as you were saying.
Excellent Abbie . Castlerigg Farm - One of our favourite campsites . A great place to base youself for so many stunning places to explore . If you havn't been to the Langstrath valley and the wild swimming spot "Blackmoss Pot" can i recommend you do if you have time . Enjoy .
Always good to finally get out of the car and stretch the legs after a long drive like that. The motorway services (apart from Tebay!) don't have the same effect!
Once again another great video. You are single handed dragging me towards the Lake District ;-) I have a question after seeing you walking along the busy road: Is it normal in GB to walk on the same side as the cars, so they are driving close by from behind? ( i think it's at little scary ). Here in Denmark we are walking towards the cars and for me it's safer to know how close they are and step aside if needed. What do you think? Keep those videos coming - Stay wild

That's the best part of a forest after winter....the hidden grass fields (included)
So good. I can't understand how you don't have a million subscribers. Thank you for these films, Abbie.👍🙂👏🏾
I've never seen you so happy Abbie. The lakes and Yorkshire are the most amazing part of this country. I'd love you to tackle the coast to coast one day from St Bees to Robin Hood's Bay xx
Thank you for another amazing video
Wonderful Abbie and uplifting as ever!!!! Thank you ❤️😀👍x
Love Your videos abbie you have inspired me x
Keep up the good work.
Great video! Did this walk yesterday but skirted round Derwentwater and went over Catbells before heading back to Keswick. Loved it!
Just about to stay at this site. Looking forward to it. Cant beat the Lakes.
You make the walking look easy you don’t break sweat haha. Always a smile and lots of encouraging comments.
Thanks Abbie! This was the perfect antidote to a Monday at work! Looking forward to the next video, wherever those Lake District paths may take you. Have fun, stay safe, stay wild! 👍
What a tremendous little walk. Your enthusiasm is so infectious. Love your videos.
We always start the walk to Walla Crag and the surrounding summits from Ashness Bridge and what a gorgeous, colorful walk you had down to the Falls, which we had never seen before, so a particularly enjoyable watch. Cheers Alan
One of my fav walks so far in the lakes (I enjoyed it a bit more than Catbells - far less people 😀) xx
Walla Crag, one of my favourites. Great views.
Really loving your channel! Am enjoying reliving old adventures and exploring possible new ones. Thanks!

Love the video Abbie. I too love the Lakes, I can't spend enough time there! I live in Lincolnshire, now that IS flat.
Great video Abbie, we too love the place, just got back from Keswick yesterday, sorry to leave it behind. Walked around the lake, so this is very familiar. Keep up the good work.

Great video Abbey, like you I love the Lakes and lucky me will be in Borrowdale tomorrow for a couple of days.
One of my most favorite locations. Excellent hike.
Lovely video. We were there for the May bank holiday. Unfortunately for us it was a bit of a disaster from start to finish! Absolutely rammed with people and lots of rain. Fingers cross for the nice time.
Beautiful scenery and the horses are a nice touch. Another outstanding video. You keep improving every day.
Wahey! you've literally pitched in my exact spot from when I stayed there at Easter!

You've walked right past the best part of Walla crag around 3:50
Great video, even just to see the biggest apple award 2019! Happy Trails.
Wow like your video quality what camera are you using
Lovely video, but why didn't you visit the waterfall at lodore if you'd put it in the titles ?
Always good to finally get out of the car and stretch the legs after a long drive like that. The motorway services (apart from Tebay!) don't have the same effect!
Just done the esk trail, great weather, stunning views + great pub's for lovely grub. Check out hows wood just outside Boot.
Love your adventures! Ever consider the Appalachian Trail -or portions of it- in the US?
Once again another great video. You are single handed dragging me towards the Lake District ;-)

Normally we walk towards the traffic, for some people though, they seem to not get why we do.
