I know there are still a lot people who do not like Boris and Theo together, and I fully respect that - as long as you do not leave hateful and hostile comments. For one, I do not want any of my viewers to be offended or triggered by some of the homophobic comments I have had to delete, and secondly, this is a MOVIE. Everyone you see in this video is an ACTOR. People have literally told me to go kill myself for "supporting" Boreo. Well, Theo, in the book, says that he loves Boris, but doesn't say that he's _in_ love with him. When they meet again, Boris says that the reason they slept together was probably because they were drunk/high and needed to sleep with girls but since they didn't have girlfriends, they slept with each other instead. Boris did get a girlfriend though and, i think, sometimes still slept with Theo when they were teenagers. So, idk, maybe they were in denial of their feelings for each other or they were just sexually frustrated teens with hormones. It's confusing.
I love that Theo and Boris didn't discuss their kiss. I like that Theo had exactly 0 questions for Boris, because he understood how dear he was to Boris and how Boris did not want to say goodbye to Theo. it's gorgeous ... although in the book they generally had sex, but oh well, who does not happen

That scene where Boris is comforting Theo during his panic attack. I want someone like that to do that to me. I sometimes have panic attacks in the middle of the night and all I get is yelled at by my dad.

The actors as wonderful as they were aside the two scenes between these two that just broke my heart was as kids after theos dream of the museum and as adults after Boris found theo in his room. I truly believe despite each of them growing apart they were the only true friends each found and the love whether it was inherent or platonic they felt for one another never faded and for Boris both times to see his friend in a pain he doesn't know how to fix other than being there just broke my heart

watched this film yesterday and it was one of the greatest films I’ve ever watched. I ordered the book the other day and it’s arrived and I’m so excited to read it. There isn’t a weak link in the cast, everyone is brilliant and made me cry multiple times. I’ll definitely watch it again. ❣️
